The Expanse is a wonderful series in terms of world-building, but it truly shines when it comes to character development.
Season 5—highlighting the vulnerability motherhood brings out in Naomi, the need for revenge fueling Drummer’s sense of justice, and Chrisjen’s drive to do what is right regardless of power—anchored a narrative that delivered so much in just ten episodes.
Beyond them, Amos also shone in his unlikely partnership with Clarissa (those Mao women really shaking up the story—in a good way).
What a season... And how sad it is to know I only have six episodes left with these characters.
