I'm just now getting to my computer today, so first off lemme start by saying-
Papergames/Infold, you're some serious fuckin cunts. Fuck you for sucking the joy out of your fanbase, like straight up.
I know A LOT of people feel lost right now. Some returned to the game after months+ away, and we even gained some new people to the fanbase! Or well...we would've. I know for a lot of people, myself included, a lot of time and money was invested.
Even if they were to miraculously bring Valko back, the damage is done amongst the trust of the fanbase. We've been divided and there's no coming back from that. A good bit of the CN and Korean fanbase have shared their true feelings. They look down on global players, they look down on POC, they look down on the LGBTQ and believe they are overall superior. Valko will forever live in my heart, but honestly I can't bring myself to write for him anymore unless he came back. My heart is shattered.
But this is why I also want to bring in the introduction of a game that's been announced for 2027 and LOTS of LADs fans have migrated too as of today. An open world otome that will be available for PC, IOS and Android. Let's talk about Silent Whispers...
They might as well have just kept the game CN. Why even make it ‘global’ if global players will be ignored???
If their money is more important than ours, just keep the game atp. They wont be seeing a penny from me ever again. This is so insanely disrespectful to international players. The plan was always to add more LIs, and now the work and creativity put into the story line and characters planned for the future was for nothing.

And that's the part that's making me lose my fucking mind.
We lost an entire section of the MAIN STORY.
The livestream literally told us Valko's release was going to reveal more about the Aethercore—one of the biggest mysteries in Love and Deepspace and something that's been central to the plot from the very beginning.
So now what?
You think they can just delete him and nothing changes?
Do people genuinely think you can rip out an entire story arc without consequences?
Everything that was supposed to be revealed through Valko now has to be rewritten, redistributed, or outright cut. The main story is going to have to be retconned. Future updates are going to have to be reworked. Characters may have to be rewritten just to fill the gap he leaves.
If you're celebrating this because you "won," I sincerely hope you understand what you've actually cheered for.

I honestly thought RE fandom was insane, but this is just... On a whole other level of fucked up. Like, we knew Infold is not a good company, and tbh I don't care about Valko himself, but they literally could have kept the main story update at least... Rework it so he's not flirty with MC or something if they're hellbent on erasing months if not more of their own work for stupid reasons, but... yeah. :|
So my mom got scammed today. That was fun... I hate people who scam the elderly. Fuck them, honestly. Fuck all the scammers, but especially those who scare the elderly shitless for 7 hours straight.
I should have been busy today, but I have some time to kill, soooooo I literally have nothing to do but rant about HOTD some more, yay!
I feel like I'll be saying this all season, but... I hate show!Alicent I hate show!Alicent I hate this bitch with a burning fucking passion and I'm sick and tired of seeing her face and how she bends over backwards to use all her kids. Which would have been fine if she's always been like that, but she used to care about them all fiercely, and they first had her do a complete 180 with her sons with what, one month's time in-between S1 and S2? After loving them despite everything for as long as they were alive. AT LEAST she truly seemed to cate about Hel in S2, but that, too, is gone, and I hate watching how she uses Hel. Alicent is a fucking parasite at this point who doesn't care about anyone but Rhae Rhae. I hate hate HATE how even in this episode, Hel was an afterthought not only to her, but to the show's framing again, with her literally being blurred in the background as they spoke to the guards or the camera zooming in on Alicent with the 'woe is me' expression looking at her gf, while my girl Hel stood there fucking paralyzed looking at her beheaded grandfather??????????????? Like??? THE FUCK ARE WE DOING ANYMORE.
Rhae Rhae managing to behead Otto on the second swing was hilarious tbh. Rhae Rhae at least entertains me, 'cause I cannot take her seriously anymore and I literally laugh at all her scenes now. It's peak comedy to me. So sad. Too bad. Ah well.
And if anyone still says this show is not biased towards TB idk they need to get their eyes checked. Why the hell was the sequence of taking Harrenhal so short and we had anime villain Aemond again just kebabbing people in gloomy lighting and ending begging for help on his knees, while saint Rhae Rhae's taking of King's Landing happened with all but a halo behind her, was long as fuck, the spikey chair didn't cut her, the heroic music was playing etc etc. And that Daemon line about them turning on each other. :D The clownery.
ANYWAY BACK TO ALICENT 'CAUSE THIS FUCKING BITCH
This show is so close to actually understanding how badly they fucked upped with her; she said she made Aegon king herself last week, Hel said it this week, but they don't have her reflect on it. And she deadass says to Hel she practically isn't sure what she saw/heard, and crowning him was a mistake, but like??? She's not sure. The bitch is basically sacrificing her whole house because she's not sure. That woe is me when she saw what happened to Otto is so frustrating because the fuck did you think was going to happen. How did it not occure to her the deal she made wouldn't include Aegon alone. Like, the show is trying to frame Alicent as smart again, but having characters say she's conniving doesn't actually make her smart or conniving if you've made her repulsive, indecisive, having zero loyalty to anyone but the crush of 20 years ago and stupid as fuck.
Get her the fuck away from Helaena. Oh and that "You I may yet redeem". The hell was that? Helaena is not a supermarket coupon. Otto's death is absolutely on her hands, Hel's will be, too. Can we at the very fucking least get my girl some screen time away from both Alicent and Nyra before her due date fucking hell...
Aemond actually going to Harrenhal off screen = also clownery, like suuuuuure he's sooooooooooo hated by his remaining fam no one wanted to say goodbye? Hel doesn't actually hate him, it seems.
Show only remembering Helaena is actually queen only when Alicent needs it and for Alicent's scenes basically? RIP to Hel being queen, we'll never actually see her be one, I guess, thanks for nothing.
Alys asking for Harrenhal? The fuck was that? I just know it seemed like peak girlbossing to Sara when she was writing that, but ??? Alys would absolutely not have been stupid enough to make such demands, because the moment she'd have demanded something like that, she'd be dead.
Rhaena and Addam crumbs were nice and honestly they're the only ones I care about even remotely on TB. Despite Rhaena basically having Nettle's storyline, I'm glad she at least has something to do. Which could never be said for 90% of characters in the show.
Fuck everything else, I skipped through at x5 speed, I can no longer be bothered to watch this travesty in full.
Also, this show is a great example of why sometimes it's bad to follow what the actors say, because knowing Emma wanted the sword because they didn't know what to do with their hands was especially funny, when Daemon was fighting everyone, and Nyra just... stood there. Hands on the sword. Awwww, at least they have somewhere to put their hands now! But hey, she can behead almost easily; Theon had to swing 4 times, but Rhae Rhae is such a natural uwu girlboss she gets it on the 2nd swing, yay!
