Chronic Brainrot

We, hispanics, have a saying that goes "Sana, sana, colita de rana. Si no sanas hoy, sanarás mañana" which translates to "Heal, heal, little frog’s tail. If you don't heal today, you'll heal tomorrow". Is a phrase used by adults when a child gets hurt to comfort them.

I hate doing this once again as I know everyone is having a tough time. However, if anyone can lend anything please it would benefit me currently as I have been terminated from my current job and currently looking for a new one/filing for unemployment, received nothing from tax return this year and depending on two adults currently with no jobs and 1 barely working car in rural Texas.

I also currently have an ongoing untreated outter ear infection causing me exstreme debilitating pain and unable to hear in my left ear. I have no insurance so medication for it with an RX card is 70$ that I really need right now or it'll get worse if untreated.

Hi I'm Ysabelle/Bella and when I was 4 I was taking a bath with my brother and we're playing peekaboo when he surprised me and I hit my head to our toilet bowl,I had to go to surgery because I slashed the side of my left eye,The Doctors had to stitch it back together and I had thread on the side of my face😀😀,And I Brought Mars bars!!

Hi I'm Ash, and when I was about two years old, when I was crying, my mother used to lock me out in the hallway because she didn't want to deal with me! I don't really remember how long she left me out there, probably until I stopped crying I guess. And boom, that was probably the start of why I'm genuinely scared of her right now!

Hello, I'm Talia! I don't really know where to start with this, particularly considering as two of my mutuals know me in real life and literally go to my school, so I am going to just mention the first that came to mind (which actually barely features any mental or emotional abuse).

A couple of years ago, for what I think was my brother's sixth birthday, my parents made a cake with chocolate and vanilla in it, (knowing full well that I do not eat chocolate, partly because I think it gives me a headache) upon my brother's request. Long story short, my parents said that I absolutely had to eat some of the cake because 'you can't go to a birthday cake and then not eat the cake', despite the fact that it wasn't even a proper party, due to Covid, and that I genuinely don't think that rule even makes any sense in the first place. My parents then said that, if I didn't eat the cake for that meal, I could expect it for dinner and then for breakfast, so they pretty much said that they wouldn't feed me anything else, for any meal, until I ate a piece of stupid cake. I was furious, scared and absolutely indignant to the point of literally feeling as though I was choking and couldn't properly breathe. Now, I'm actually kind of scared of chocolate. Sorry, that was really long.

One day I was really pissed off at everyone, at the end of class I wanted to leave everything messy, the desks and chairs in the room (but honestly I wanted to make the mess worse honestly, But anyway), then when I went to leave, and when I was going to close the door with a lot of force out of anger, my finger was there, and then it crumpled and left it all broken, fucked up, bloodied, destroyed, fucked up, Shredded, ripped out and all the Gore you can imagine, then I started crying in pain (because I was a stupid 7 year old kid (or whatever age there) at that time), And then I went home with the bandage on my finger, and they were still laughing saying the phrases that said "I'M GOING TO DIEEEE!!!! IT HUUURT I'M GOOIOING TO DIE, I DON'T WAAANNNT TO DIE AHAHAHAHAHAH", And that was basically it

One time when I was like 3, I was playing around in my garage, trying to climb on things, as it was my favorite thing to do as a toddler. But then i took it too far when I accidentally fell off and landed my head on my Dad’s spiked bike. My head was bleeding everywhere, I was screaming and crying in pain like a toddler (bc I was a toddler at the time afterall), my parents noticed the situation, and immediately took me to the Doctor’s. My Dad was the doctor, and he was trying to stitch my head up (in a kinda painful way, but it was for the best) while I was playing Angry birds, and I surprisingly didn’t cry at all during that session, as most toddlers wouldn’t handle shit like that, I handled it like a fuckin’ Chad. So that’s how I got my permanent scar.

Let me see what I remember…

There was this one time very recently actually (about 2 or three years ago) where we went to the pool. It was a public pool and it was me, @redbird46, and my cousin with another group too. I’m 5 foot 2 right, so, I’m pretty short and I’m not tall enough to properly be in the center of the pool without drowning (I don’t know how to properly swim yet). I was at the shallow end swimming back and forth from one side to the other and I accidentally swam at an angle that was too close to the center of the pool. So, as I did short kicks like I usually do as practice, I realized my head couldn’t properly go above water when I stopped. So I just start PANICKING! I can’t hold my breath for very long so I start to book it and flail around trying my best to reach the other side of the pool to hold me up. I could feel myself getting tired and I genuinely thought I was about to fucking die. Thankfully I caught the ledge and pulled myself back up but oh my god I am never swimming close to the center ever again.

Ever since I was small enough to comprehend shapes, I’ve had this really unexplainable phobia of eyes that would send me into a full blown panic attack if I even laid eyes on something as simple as a drawing. It got so bad that I started to associate things that only tangentially looked like eyes, which led to me freaking out over the god damn DVD screensaver from back in the day lol.

In my parent’s bedroom, there was an old and heavy monitor that rested on top of their dresser and had said DVD screen saver when it wasn’t in use. I could never pass by their room without trying to get the hell out of there as fast as humanly possible, and one day, I had enough. I wanted to turn off the TV because I was just so sick of looking at it. So I took my tiny 5 year old body, climbed the dresser using the handles as a ladder, and attempted to climb to the TV. Unfortunately, I didn’t understand how the distribution of weight worked, and my body caused the entire dresser to fall backwards with me still clinging on.

Luckily, I landed on the floor as the dresser pyramided above me, narrowly avoiding being crushed. I was in shock for about 5 seconds as my parents rushed in to see what happened, before promptly bawling my eyes out. Everything after that was a blur and to this day I still haven’t fully gotten over my fear of eyes
