Bailey's design has changed quite a bit since i first scribbled her a few years ago. she's become more overtly Wild looking, less human, which fits her development

fun fact Ursula knows how to dye by hand and also weave the loom

birthname Ursula, born in Bavaria, Embraced in 1555

it was Very Bad and her sire, Wulfe, did some horrible shit to her as her village burned to ashes around her; heartbreakingly for Ursula, her childhood sweetheart Heinrike was there as well, equally victimized by the gangrel mercenary before they were embraced together as a bit of a joke because Wulfe wanted to see which of these two soft village girls would survive her enforced isolation

( they both did, but neither knew that until much later )

wanders the countryside for a while, making her way to France over the next several years, runs feral there, kills a bunch of people, it's a whole thing

eventually she winds up in spain where she, you guessed it, starts killing people again

because she's survived on her own forever she easily avoids the attention of local cainites who are seething and mad but it's very hard to catch a gangrel who doesn't want to be caught

starts watching abyss mystics because they have ritual and routine; the women in black come to the water and do their rituals and bailey watches them in the darkness, entranced by the finality of it or maybe just the pretty women

over the years of observation, fewer and fewer women return until only one remains ( Azahar )

Bailey then sets out to court her and does this by breaking the neck of a hunter and dragging said hunter to Azahar's front door and leaving the girl to be eaten

also Bailey has the worst Spanish accent you've ever heard because it's got the sound development of someone who was reared speaking Old German

she and azahar become mates and Bailey gets to be spoiled a little

it also becomes known low key that you cannot speak english in front of the Bishop Azahar because it will be assumed to be an insult by the Claw who cannot speak it and does not want to learn. you will speak Latin or you will speak Spanish and you will use proper polite terms

it isn't known that they're mates -- they're observed to be close, but both take other lovers and it's assumed by most that Bailey is kept close because, uh, well, she was a feral fucking gangrel when she met Azahar and Azahar is smart enough to go "yeah i want that guarding my throne"

( in the timeline where Azahar dies in the 1800s, Bailey tries to meet the sun, but Azahar's oubliette hell labyrinth of the abyss beneath her keep drags Bailey down to protect her and let her rest peacefully until a time comes where revenge can be had on Azahar's killer, her Childe. when she wakes up, literally several local Lasombra immediately pack up and leave because they've been capitalizing off of Azahar's death for centuries and that will go over very very badly )

so here's the sketch concepts of rattler's two kids, i've got them more figured out. i did some random number rolling to decide if they looked more like Rattler or their birth mom and both of them rolled birth mother lmfao which is probably good for them in the long run

Naga's real last name isn't Grimaldi but when she's dealing with vampires it is. because that's the name of the revenant line and that's what matters.

she's got rattler's fucked up eye color as her own eye color, but didn't inherit Auspex, which I think makes sense because Rattler doesn't have it naturally or anything, it's just... kind of something that got carved into her. Nagisa hates everyone and everything and is extremely fucking bristly. Which normally isn't cool for a Grimaldi but the Tzimisce who arranged the whole thing between her mom and Rattler-with-adjustments was specifically looking to cultivate a mean bitch to both be charismatic and break hands. the superiority complex of the Grimaldi family is almost immediately tempered by being, you know, tied to the Bratovich family. Nagisa enjoys logic puzzles, and has a whole collection of books filled with them because they're fun and have no real world seriousness. in actuality she's just kind of tired of all this mess. she knows about the family desire to go Camarilla, and the one thing she actually is afraid of is that some moron in charge will decide to pull the trigger on that one and kickstart a bunch of horseshit that she probably has to either kill or be killed in. not great.

Lennox meanwhile is the culmination of a long term business partnership between the Tzimisce in charge of that line of Bratoviches and her comrade who she's known since the dark ages. she's six foot something, has a lazy smile and a relaxed demeanor, and has a collection of throwing axes that she brings out at family gatherings. she's spent much of her life in the dark halls of old estates, because part of her job is to go through the collections of lore left behind by dead Tzimisce. sometimes this involves fighting a living alarm system, hence the cross with the Bratovich lineage -- Lennox has VERY high stamina and dexterity, with strength not being a slouch of a skill either.
