i'm so excited to officially open my inprnt shop to the public!! i have 17 pieces available currently, including one that is exclusively available as a print and has never been posted online!

if you have any suggestions for other pieces of mine you'd like to purchase as a print, please let me know and i'll see what i can do! many original files are too small or were lost when my last computer died so i can't promise anything, but if nothing else it might give me ideas for what to create in the future.

my immediate interpretation was that noelle is in Big Denial. we've already seen plenty of how much she retreats into her own reality in the face of horrible things happening, so her constructing her own narrative about dess's disappearance fits perfectly in line with that. i read "after dess left" and was like oh noelle. oh honey.

honestly, the first time i played through chapter 5 i was pretty stressed and not really enjoying it for what it was. the mix of excitement / adrenaline with the knowledge that i would be expected to have smart things to say about it and react a certain way, that's a lot to handle. deltarune kinda becomes my job when a new chapter drops. all that to say: i did not love them at first because they were new and scary lmao.

when i feel like it i guess, haha. if im getting a lot of asks im less likely to answer them all, but if im bored i might answer any ol' thing. i also just straight up forget a lot of the time

im more likely to answer questions that i feel like i have something substantial to say to, so if the question is just "have you seen this thing" then i might ignore it. but if the question is "have you seen this thing, and how do you feel about it" i think that's way more worth making its own post (unless the answer is just "no" which isn't very interesting either). if it's an easy question to answer and you message me off anon though i'll probably reply! i just dont wanna post so many that it bothers people

sometimes i also just dont get to asks because theyre inquiring something complicated that i dont feel i have a good answer to. since a lot of people read my analysis, i try to make extra sure that i'm saying everything in a way that's fair and understandable, and sometimes im not confident i can do that about a particular topic (or i feel like i gotta revisit the work/do more research first).

that is interesting, maybe not for the same reasons as you have though... because, yknow, susie and noelle getting together is part of the prophecy (we know that because otherwise, ralsei wouldnt have known to give them alone time in queen's castle). you'd think that if the prophecy was enforcing these roles based on old jrpg tropes, it WOULD be setting up susie and kris. between that and the weird route being so staunchly in defiance of the prophecy, it makes me think that following the prophecy to some extent is not necessarily a bad thing. i dont think susie and noelle falling in love is a bad thing. but i also definitely think we're seeing certain things being pushed onto susie in a way that's concerning. if i had to predict a Point, i'd say it would lie somewhere in the realm of "defying expectation is not the end-all-be-all of freedom, what matters is what you as an individual decide makes you happy". but i'm not confident or comfortable saying anything for sure, since that's just not information we have yet.

going back to the mentioned discussion, i think that has more to do with how fandoms react to romance in a serialized work. whatever your opinion is on suselle vs krusie, people are going to have biases that favor their own ship as the "correct" one, whether that means the one which will become canon or the one that should become canon. i dont think how the fans feel about shipping should ever have that much influence on the actual core story, and i dont think framing either suselle or krusie as "correct" is intentional either. especially given how many references there are to polyamory throughout the game and how much it's emphasized that susie wants both noelle and kris in her life. it's definitely a source of conflict for the characters, but to decide any one romantic pairing is the objectively best writing choice before the story is even close to done... short-sighted, in my opinion!

trying to come at this from the perspective of a writer as opposed to a fan, the best i can say for now is: i think just as much as anything is being set up for the "endgame" or "the point", toby is also just doing a lot of ship-baiting because it's fun. shipping itself is fun. im 100% behind being passionate about shipping, but i think we do not have nearly enough information to make any kind of final judgement on the story's romantic relationships in this case.

i think it will. i'd be pretty disappointed if they were just dead and that's it, there's other things "used up" could mean. killing them in the name of pushing the game to its limits and seeing everything, we've done that before, in undertale. there must be something more this time.

yes, i think so! susie as the hero who's determined to beat the system, but doesnt realize she's just doing exactly what it wants. ralsei as the agent of the system who makes herself small and palatable for the sake of her role and feels exerting autonomy would be far worse than their continued suffering. noelle, in the weird route at least, as the unwitting puppet who's tricked into believing her pain and subservience are what she needs to be fulfilled. kris as the poseable doll who can be whatever anyone needs them to be, secretly pulling what strings they can in service of their own abuse. berdly.... yet to be determined lmao

there's also the aspect of, both ralsei and kris believing to some extent that any efforts to free them are pointless, that they dont deserve it, the guilt that comes from being a part of hurting somebody they care about... but still they both look at susie and her hope and her love for them, and allow themselves to think maybe, just maybe, there's a chance that she can actually change things.
