Second, the tribalism didn't come from those who aren't keen on receiving said rushed "vaccine", it came from those dehumanizing (and demonizing) them, which in turn caused justifiable backlash at the notion of being othered and shamed for non-compliance. You get more bees with honey than vinegar.

Third, regarding the non-sequitur of "if they were concerned about freedoms why don't they complain they can't drive drunk..." it's because, Jeanie, there is clear and inherent danger to the action of drunk driving, to oneself and others. That risk isn't so immediately clear with the "vaccine".

There are, yes, certain social obligations that come with living in a society. Kowtowing to the masses on something that's been hastily cobbled, poorly studied, and approved in emergency use only is not among those social obligations.

Apparently you failed to learn the lesson of rushed vaccines with Polio and the swine flu, and fail to realize why the minimum length of time any drug takes to get FDA approval is two years, and the average vaccine timeline is twelve.

Masks, as prescribed, are ineffective. The vaccine isn't a vaccine, it's gene therapy, and rushing it through can lead to a greater disaster than the illness. Lockdowns didn't work, and every estimation of how cataclysmic this novel coronavirus would be has been so off the mark scientists have resigned in disgrace.

As for my claims that those vaccine skeptics were demonized and dehumanized, here's just one of many examples of the type of rhetoric used.

Now I'll concede on the specific point I implied suggesting scientists had resigned in disgrace because of bad modeling, but Prof Niel Ferguson had actually resigned due to being caught violating the very mask mandates he and his team recommended. On that note, the Imperial College of London's highly faulty and erroneous model projected an optimistic number of one million dead in the U.S. by October of 2020.
