I am calling on my followers and anyone else reading this post to take time to donate at least 10 euros to Nader's family's campaign. It is vetted (#4 on the list).

Mona (@mohammedshehabtt) has reached out to me to share new info with you all. She needs to buy two tents for herself and her mother and father. The cost of the two tents is $3,000. It’s now winter in Gaza and the conditions are horrible. Mona, her husband, her parents, and her two young daughters have no shelter to keep out of the cold and rain. These tents are essential to their survival. Please donate if you can, no amount is too small. So far, they have only raised 2k out of their 30k goal. We can help them reach their short term goal of $3,000 with your help. Please, please consider donating. Even a few bucks will help get them closer to their goal. Nadine is a high school student from Jabaliya. Her home, school, and study supplies were completely destroyed. She and her family have been repeatedly displaced, and are currently living in a tent. The tent leaves them exposed to the elements, and the density of families in tents living near each other has worsened the pollution and sanitation crisis. Now Nadine’s father has fallen ill, and the family has no money to find treatment for him. Nadine wants to raise money to procure treatment for her father, and to be able to continue her education.

Nadine’s campaign has only 2 donors so far, amounting to $35 CAD/$25 USD. Please support and help circulate her campaign!

If you broke a bone or had a serious injury, did you have to do physical therapy? I know I did when I broke my wrist. For me, physical therapy was annoying and a little painful, but I was fortunate to be able to receive it.

Mohammed Al-Habil is not so fortunate.

While searching for firewood with his older brother Omar, Mohammed was bombed by the occupation. Omar, a young nurse whose wife was expecting a baby, was martyred. Mohammed received a severe leg wound that left him immobile. He spent months in the hospital, and lost all function in his left leg due to being unable to move it.

Mohammed was prescribed physical therapy, which medical staff in north Gaza continue to do their best to provide. But physical therapy can be very expensive, even in peacetime. For a family with no income due to an ongoing genocidal invasion, it is impossible to pay the required fees.

Without paying these fees, Mohammed will be unable to receive physical therapy. This means his leg will not heal properly, and his ability to walk may be impaired or destroyed for the rest of his life. It is very urgent that he receives this treatment!

He was prescribed therapy almost every day. Each session costs about $50 USD. That’s $50 USD EVERY DAY. This is an enormous burden for Mohammed, as it would be for any of us as well.

Any support you can provide will go toward helping Mohammed regain his mobility, and will be greatly appreciated.

Abed @mohmad2 is raising funds to support his family after they were displaced from Gaza City to Deir Al-Balah.

His two previous campaigns, which raised over €5000, were terminated by GFM with no prior warning or explanation. This was catastrophic, as he requires these funds to feed and supply his young family. He and his wife have 2 children, a toddler and a newborn, and they are struggling to feed and provide them with medical care.

Nour was born with a congenital heart condition. This has put her life in jeopardy on several occasions, and greatly impacted her growth and overall health and wellbeing. She requires medications to help keep her condition in check. This prescription will be ready for pickup tomorrow, Thursday 14 November 2024. We would like for the family to be able to procure the medication ASAP!

There are multiple disabled people in their household who require frequent medical treatment, and yet the family has 0 income with which to procure it. Right now, the family is particularly concerned about young Nour. Her condition is chronic and serious. Without this medication, she could suffer frightening and painful symptoms, and her young life will be in danger!

Last month, you all helped the family procure Nour’s medicine. I know we can do it again this month! The medication costs about $400 USD or $559 CAD. If 40 people gave $10 USD, or 20 people gave $20 USD, or 10 people gave $40 USD, the medication would be paid for in no time!

The occupation destroyed her home, her livelihood, her community, and her family. Two of her young children were martyred when the occupation bombed their home.

Being unable to make a living, Rana, her husband, and their two surviving children are extremely desperate. They are displaced with no resources, and they have no money to purchase increasingly scarce food.

Noor's family of five once had a beautiful home, but it was destroyed by bombs and war. Because of constant displacement, she and her family have little left. Her children have few clothes and are sick! They live in a tent. Food is getting more expensive. Winter is on the horizon. They need your help!

Her daughter Rajaa was infected with hepatitis from malnutrition, her eldest son Hussein can no longer go to school, and her baby boy Youssef needs milk, diapers, and clean drinking water. Her husband, Ashraf suffered from a shoulder injury at the beginning of the war, and has lost his job because the place where he worked was destroyed—he worked as a math teacher at a school.

Noor's donation campaign is a testament to her strength and resilience. She struggles to communicate with me because of internet issues in Gaza, but has nonetheless conveyed this message, which I will now share with you:

"We will continue to live, continue to love, and continue to dream of a better tomorrow."

She loves her children, and thanks everyone who helps her. Please, she has raised only 24,270 / 40,000. I personally am so grateful to all who donated, but I will admit I am deeply saddened how much things have slowed. Like Noor, though, I believe in hope. I believe you can make a difference in her life, for her and her family.
