âI mean, heâs a toddler, heâs not always sweet, but, in my heart, he is the sweetest boy,â he says with a soft laugh, his hand placed against his chest, âHe gets fussy and impatient, he doesnât want to eat what heâs given half the time, heâs always making a mess, you know,â he shrugs, âNormal kid stuff,â he says with a broad smile. As she continues, he nods, his brows drawing together as he takes in the information, âThatâs the sort of thing I donât like to directly think too hard about, but itâs true. Iâm sorry to say, Iâm not any good in a fight. And, you know, if I was itâs not really a risk I think I ought to be taking,â he says, frowning, âBut I am grateful that there are people here, so we can try and justâŚbe normal, instead of all halting because there are some horrible people in the world.â
Reagan grinned as Ianto spoke of his son, hearing the love in his voice as he spoke. âCanât live with âem, canât live without âem.â She finished for him.
âI guess I can thank you for being where Iâm at.â Reagan declared after he dismissed his own abilities. âI wouldnât have made it as an auror if someone hadnât of helped me in school... I owe you more than you know.â She told him earnestly before nodding in agreement. âHereâs to hoping weâre just overreacting and everyone can just enjoy themselves.â Reagan offered a kind smile.
