Now onto Part 1 of the 2 Part Final Installment of my #BTA Goodbye. My beautiful memory jar. Reading these notes, I remember all over again why I loved this program. Some of you wrote me the most beautiful, touching notes. Other notes were simply downright amusing, as I assume they were meant to be. All I can say is thank you. Thank you for reminding me why I love this, and for providing me with #HersheyKisses at the bottom for when I start to tear up. This next post is dedicated to anyone who plans on participating in #BTA this fall. I want to introduce you to someone special. This is my elephant bird. My best friend Tara gave him to me after our last #Seussical show in 2004 (I was in 7th grade, at Blanchard). Obviously I still have him. I hope he and his story bring you as much fun and as many memories as he brought me. You are all incredibly lucky, for Seussical basically has 3 lead casts. There are so many opportunities, and every part is so much fun. I highly encourage you to listen to the soundtrack over the summer to hyped for the fall. So these next few posts are going to be mushy. Somehow I managed to (mostly) avoid it on Saturday night but now there is no escaping it. I love #BTA. I rarely use the term, but I was blessed to be a part of this wonderful family this year, and not just because they give me such beautiful bouquets all the time.
