How TADC & Deltarune fans both be moving after another popular trans-coded character refuses to acknowledge their relationship with gender and pushes away the only person who sees through their denial.

Can't wait for them to double down on the values and expectations put upon them by family/Big Prophecy until their unwillingness to accept change ends up dooming themselves to the narrative. 💔

I do think about how the ending could have looked if it was a tragedy. And I see a lot of interpretations where “Telemachus should have killed Odysseus, mistaking him for an angry suitor.” Which could be *good*…

BUT I think the inverse where Odysseus accidentally kills Telemachus is more tragic. (Even if neither rendition is accurate to the original myth.)

Epic starts with Odysseus killing Astyanax, and it’s one of a few acts from the first half that doesn’t have a clearly mirrored action. If the story were to fully commit to a ring structure, the death of Telemachus at the story’s end is the only real parallel to the innocent son Odysseus murdered at the story’s opening.
