Rhiannon Roberts - Guyana 2018
@rcroberts13
Hi, my name is Rhiannon Roberts and I'm a first year zoology student at the University of Nottingham. I am trying to raise funds for me to go out to the Iwokrama forest in Guyana for four weeks on an expedition with the conservation organisation Operation Wallacea. While out there I will be surveying the wildlife and environment of several different parts of the forest to see the effect that selective logging has had on the biodiversity. I will be surveying reptiles, amphibians, birds and large mammals such as pumas and jaguars. The last three days of the expedition will be spent on a boat on the Burro Burro River surveying the giant river otter and water birds. By funding my expedition you will be helping with all the amazing conservation efforts that Operation Wallacea do in Guyana and helping me with broadening my scientific knowledge and field work experience. Thank you for your support!
