On the plus side, there was a petco next door and I bought Alyce three toys since the GFM is close enough to reaching its goal. :) Pics when we get home and cool down a little.

There's a neat town festival out here and we walked through it a little bit but it's too hot and I can't tell what any of the booths are. Alyce has her boots on to protect her toes but she was still melting down a bit (hates the boots and also it's hot today). We're waiting in the air conditioned bus. She got a lot of compliments on the booties though. Everyone loves the dog boots except the dogs. :D

Code name Tinkerbell has arrived! She's so smol! I have never seen a German shepherd this little. She's a sheplet, if you will. But she's sweet, quite personable, and pulls like my third guide who was practically twice her size. We've only been on two walks so far but we're both figuring each other out.

I am aware that reptiles can't be service animals, but I'm curious for story purposes.

I'm working with a fictional setting where there are no land mammals besides humanoids; only reptiles, amphibians, and whatever calls the ocean it's home.

The character I'm asking this for is blind and requires a guide animal.
