Misogynists love to point out that women are the ones who file for divorce 70% of the time and paint this as proof that women are flighty and disloyal when in all actuality it is because straight dudes are too lazy and selfish to do it. They’d rather be miserable and live in a domestic double hostage situation for the rest of their life than possibly have to sell their boat in the divorce and wash their own underwear in their divorced dad apartment.
