finished watching interstellar and this line hit me HARD- (this is mostly to remind myself, but then i decided to post this here)

it only has to work once. drill this into your head. don't give up just because of a 'failed' attempt (though there are no failed attempts, every time you attempt, you shift.). SHIFTING IS INEVITABLE. all those minishifts, all those symptoms, all those reality glitches, all that effort. it all must amount to something right?
moreover, all those tears, all those feelings, all that time, all those crashouts, PLEASE don't give up. you owe it to yourself. you have to honor yourself. you have to honor your journey. look how far you've come. it only has to work once.

This Habit Helped Me Reach the Void State After Like 5 Days
So basically, instead of doing the usual reality checks for lucid dreaming, I started doing reality checks for the Void State.
I constantly asked myself if I was in the Void State. Things like: "Am I in the Void?" or "Is this the Void State?"
And I would answer myself : No, you won't be able to feel, hear, or see anything if this was the Void State.
I kept doing this for about 5 days. Then, last night, I decided to formally try to enter the Void State. I lay down on my bed and started counting from 0 to 100 with affirmations, but it didn't work. I wasn't even getting sleepy! So, I went to the toilet. When I came back to bed, I started scrolling on my phone, doing some casual Void State checks in between. I began to get sleepy and started to drift off. Then, boom, my mind suddenly performed a Void State check, and just like that, I was in the Void.
I didn't manifest much while I was there, besides cake. I'd been craving cake earlier while scrolling through my phone. So, while in the Void, I just said "cake" and focused on the image of a Castella cake. When I woke up, I actually totally forgot I'd even entered the Void. I walked outside my room and saw this big box. I asked my mom what it was, and she said it was cake. I was like, "OMG, I manifested cake from the Void!" And it was Castella cake too! There were six big blocks of Castella in the box, all different flavors. There was chocolate, strawberry, the popular Japanese cheesecake style, matcha, pistachio, and a pumpkin one (which I gave to my mom). She said my uncle got it from the supermarket bakery while doing his morning errands.
I feel like now I should have manifested more things. But, to be honest, when you are in there, you won't be in a state to rattle off a whole list at least, I wasn't. You will be so at peace that you honestly won't even want anything. I've been really overstimulated lately, and I simply didn't care about manifesting when I was there, but I did manifest some good cake.
So here is my tip if you are entering the Void: Make a list beforehand. That way, once you're in that peaceful state, you can just say: "I have everything on my manifest list" or just say "List" like how I said "cake" and think about the full list you wrote on your book or note app. This will keep you from forgetting everything you want.
Also, this habit can be very useful for lucid dreaming too. A lot of people become lucid in a dream but forget to enter the Void State. Since you'll be doing reality checks for the Void State every day, your mind will automatically ask if you are in the Void State while dreaming, helping you enter the Void state easily.
[Edit] The reason this habit works is simple:
If you constantly ask yourself the same question over and over throughout the day, your mind will have the tendency to bring it up while you are sleepy or dreaming.
I should have taken a picture of the cakes, but I ate 4 of them and my mom ate 2 so fast cause you won't feel like your eating anything too heavy when you are eating castella cakes. So light and jiggly.

i see so many people say “change your self concept” “change your thought patterns” “think from the state of the wish fulfilled” & nobody ever breaks it down in small achievable goals & simple mindset adjustments. you can’t always positive affirmation your way out of self loathing. so. these are methods that have helped me over the past two-ish years.
𐔌՞. .՞𐦯
⋆˙⟡♡ notice your algorithms. what you like. what you stream. what your feed looks like. what comments you interact with. what you repost. take a day to really actively observe what you consume. does your feed line up with who you want to be ? where you want to be ? by interacting with self deprecating, self hating, content it keeps you in that mindset. that old script alive. make your feed look like your dream life. interact with stuff that builds you up. don’t keep feeding your digital world with content you no longer relate to. don’t like that comment about how doomed we are. or the one about how broke you are. or the one how you feel unloveable. before you press a button, “is this who i want to be ?”
⋆˙⟡♡ be jealous. hear me out. jealousy shows you what you truly desire. I believe (to an extent) being a hater, shows us where we’re vulnerable & what we are envious of in other people. flip the script. “if they can have it, it’s possible for me to have it too.” proof that it exists; it can be done or had.
⋆˙⟡♡ you already have confidence. i know you’re already confident, you’re just confident about the wrong thing. your confident in the ability that you “cannot shift” or how you “look ugly today”. another one i hear a lot is “i cannot manifest” you can be confident. your confidence is just misplaced.
⋆˙⟡♡ people are stupid. “i don’t like your straight blonde hair” someone says to you, when you actually have curly red hair. to which you reply simply with “?” because you know you have red hair. you affirm it to yourself when you tuck it behind your ear or brush your teeth in the mirror every morning. use this mindset to not let other peoples words get to you because people are wrong all the time. you don’t have to take their words or opinions as gospel. you know yourself better then anyone.
⋆˙⟡♡ let yourself (& others) live through it. you’re allowed to say no. set boundaries with yourself & lighten your mental load that is caring about what other people think, do, say & create. this goes for yourself. there’s zero point in carrying other people’s stuff as your own. that’s theirs to figure out. if someone is drowning, you throw them a life perseverer, you don’t jump in after them. we can give them guidance, but it’s to their detriment if you rob people of building life skills by saving them everytime. again. this goes for yourself too. this also goes hand in hand with taking on others emotional turmoil or trauma, if you’re in the same panicked ridden state as them, you can’t have a moment to take a breath to prepare yourself or aid them clear heatedly. we can help more effectively with our head screwed on straight.
⋆˙⟡♡ think attentively, especially passing / habitual ones. what are your thoughts when you first wake up & aren’t in your dr ? what are your thoughts when you look in the mirror ? how about when you get back an exam with poor marks on it ? likely, it’s not the most positive works. something along the lines of mentally cursing yourself out, I’m sure. something of the sorts. do you really think that or are those old habits. whichever one they are, your keeping the vicious cycle alive. why do you think that way ? who put that in your head ?
⋆˙⟡♡ define you. be bored. read up on unbiased news or articles or hypotheticals. see where you stand without all the noise of social media discourse but don’t draw a hard like in it or marry yourself to one ideology. philosophy, the trolly problem. all little questions to understand how you operate to accommodate you & only you. where are your desires, assumptions, thoughts, patterns, habits, quirks all stemming from.
⋆˙⟡♡ compare yourself. not in low confidence or self hatred. see why you’re attracted to people or ones you look up to. why do you gravitate towards them ? what qualities do they have that you admire ? their work ethic ? their kindness ? do they have a lot of self discipline ? do you have the same level of self discipline as them ? no ? how can you be more disciplined with yourself ? again. “if they can have it or do it, so can i”.

So you now have a clear image of your desired appearance. You know exactly what you want to look like, what you want to change, what you want to keep.
Now all it takes to become this version of your self is tell yourself you are this version. Seriously. Say it to yourself right now that you look exactly how you want to look. Say it how many times you want until it satisfies you.

All you have to do is persist in that assumption. You. Have. Your. Desired. Appearance. 🔚 of story. I don't care what you see in that mirror, what you feel, what you see with your eyes.. You HAVE your desired appearance. Seriously, just keep telling yourself you have it. That's all it takes. Ignore everything that tells you that you're lying, that you don't have it- curse those thoughts away. Tell them to f🤬 off, remind yourself that you have your desired appearance and continue your day. Please for the love of God, please don't go around persisting for a day, then the next morning you wake up, run to the bathroom, look at yourself and get disappointed cause it "didn't work". Well no shit obviously it didn't.
Lets say that you want to manifest green eyes alright? You tell yourself you have green eyes and you drift to sleep. The next day you wake up, jump out the bed and run to the bathroom just to look at the mirror and see yourself with brown eyes.🤚🏼Pause. If you already had green eyes, would you get up every day, run to the bathroom to check if you have green eyes? Obviously not🤕 Think like a damn person that has green eyes. How would that person think💭❔ Visualize yourself walking around with those gorgeous green eyes scanning the streets, visualize yourself talking to someone and looking at them with your green eyes etc.
🪽Seriously i pinky promise you just keep reminding and telling yourself that you have your desired appearance. If any doubt comes up to your mind, tell it to fuk off. You make the rules, you control everything. Keep persisting and don't give up. I GUARANTEE you if you actually do this it WILL work. You don't need anything else, no more advice. 🗝️Now you better decide and persist ❕
