I keep hopping around custom ideas putting off finishing up shortcake 😅 I just gotta do her eyelids and beak and she'll be done being painted. I want to figure out a way to make the ears out of fabric as well so they can be fluffy but I haven't drafted a pattern yet. For now here's a WIP on Mullberry
I made this sweet little red-tailed specter moth furby as a commission for a lovely Instagram follower.
I absolutely adore moths, so this commission was a real pleasure to work on! Their wings are articulated allowing them to be opened and closed 🌙💙
ooh! how did you go about making the articulation? I've been wanting to maybe add wings to some future customs. they look so well put together too!!
Thank you! I used joints for teddy bears in a small size (15mm I think). They're quite easy to use, but it's important to get the placement right before putting the stopper on the back because it's near impossible to remove. I have another moth furby in the works so I'll make a tutorial for the wings soon :)
