Congrats to Wicked alumnus, Shoshana Bean! 🏆🎭✨💚
Good men have too many rules.
"It's just for the first time I feel... wicked!"
ive only fully watched the arrowverse shows supergirl and flash, sure they are pretty shitty shows with terrible cgi (especially the flash fight scenes), but you cant deny the impact and meaning they have
in it all, supergirl is a show about having hope and accepting yourself. that no matter what you have to live on so that a part of everything that's gone remains and that part becomes a part of you. its that, despite every single hardship and thing being brought back from the past, you have to believe in it and keep going (thus making her the paragon of hope). it is also about moving beyond the past and paving your own future when the one set by a rigid system completely restrains you. its about embracing who you are, the power to feminism and injustice to women and immigrants + what its like having to cope with growing up different. and, although her vibe does differ from that in the comics, she's pretty fucking powerful and cool
meanwhile, in the flash, from the start to the end its about a boy who's been let down each time he's loved and is forced to fight everything he despises, everything that made his love a weakness. through it all, he realises that its his love that is so impossible that gives him power to go one (making him the paragon of love). however, by the end of the show its about balence in the universe and how spreading love applies to more than just the people he cares about. its about being at terms with the positives and negatives so that there can be a balence and its about breaking cycles of violence and creating a better world. its all about how through love, anything can really be possible, and, i dont care that the show became lower quality by the end, i still enjoyed it and grant gustin is damn good at being the flash (also fuck off iris haters)
but yeah, as 'bad' as the shows tended to be they are pretty awesome :D

Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's rude.
Trust Marvel UK to have a post ready for Ms Marvel 4th anniversary 💜
Cheers!🥂🩷💚

JENNIFER GARNER ph. by Celeste Sloman for Instyle Magazine (2026)
“I grew up without a dad, so it was important to me that the girls had the best one I could give them and that was Tom. I always saw the girls as Body, Mind, and Spirit, but it was Professor who was the Heart of the family, a role that Tom played in the booth and in real life.” - Craig McCracken
rest in peace, Tom Kane 🤍
And he’s been thinking! Which, really worries me.
Bonus:
Haha! 😅 I guess this is a IYKYK

The Skull - (2023)
Today, I bought an app called Rebelle 6. It emulates in a beautiful way oils and watercolors. This is not going to help me get through my "fine fabrics, embroideries and 19th century painting" phase but still, I love it. 😁 Here is my first work using this app.
when you think about it no wonder they called lucy the valiant, and i don't mean because she went to war. i mean because after the wars were over, she was the one on the battlefield, cordial in hand, tending to the dead and dying. she was the one with so many lives in her hands. she was the one having to make the call about who was gravely injured enough to be healed and who would keep suffering. lucy the valiant. lucy of the fire flowers. lucy of the healing hands. the queen who walked among the dying and tried to bring them back to life. how much must that wear on a person? on a little girl?
really, do you think peter's decree not to carry it into battle often was to spare the cordial, or to spare his sister?
