I tried realism in watercolor for the first time ;^; it wasn't so good at the same time, it wasn't so bad for the first timer. Need to work more on shading and shadows :3

Crazy that you make money off the 2.5D industry that does not at all go back in to the industry that you apparently love so much. There is so much lost revenue there because people rely on your videos and are not paying anything for them. They pay you instead?? Not my favorite thing at all

I think you are mistaken about something, so let me clear this up.

I am not sharing any video files on tumblr. I only share subtitle files. People rely on my subtitles. Maybe it's just me, but I believe the availablilty of English subtitles will increase official sales.

People aren't paying me. They are donating. The difference may be hard to grasp, but it essentially means I am offering a service without getting a guaranteed pay. All subtitles I offer are free. If people wish to do so, they may donate and thereby offer financial compensation in return for my service. Besides, the donations I've received so far don't quite cover the work hours I put in, so I wouldn't say I am making money off the 2.5D industry. If anything, it's pocket money.

All the money that has been donated has in fact been used to purchase 2.5D blu-rays, live-streams, tickets and merchandise. So, I would argue all that money actually goes back into the industry.

Whether or not illegal uploads actually lead to loss in revenue is still up for debate. Though I do not promote piracy, I actually believe that to a certain extent it may benefit the industry. If not for illegal uploads (with English subtitles), I would've never been dragged down the 2.5D rabbit hole and I would've never spent as much money on the industry as I have (and still am). One initial loss may lead to many profits.

Btw. I actually wrote a guide on how to navigate DMM a long, long time ago in hopes of stimulating people to buy official streams instead of relying on illegal downloads. I thought you might want to know. Since you don't like piracy. ^^
