“What’s the big difference between a sperm or an egg and a fetus?” A sperm is a single cell containing only DNA from the father. It CANNOT grow into a human being on its own. An egg is a single cell containing DNA only from the mother. It also cannot grow into a human being on its own. When a sperm and an egg unite, a NEW being is formed. The DNA from the father and mother join to form a completely unique person who has everything she will become contained within her at the moment of conception. “Fetus” simply describes a very young human being. Don’t fall into the trap of believing it’s okay to kill her because of her age.
