i always struggle drawing hair, and i feel like its very difficult to stylize it in a way that looks pleasant, but yours always has such strong and readable shapes while still looking very natural

Crazy to get this ask when hair is probably the one thing I struggle the most with lol, I'll try my best to give a little breakdown and some tips but keep in mind I have to engage all my brain cells to draw hair and im still just winging it

Always try to imagine where the hair attaches to the head. Sectioning out parts of the head for certain 'chunks' of hair can help with creating proper layering so your hair doesn't look flat

Start with big block chunks first to get the base shape and flow you're looking for you can worry about splitting hairs later

After you've blocked things out you can turn those shapes into smaller chunks and add flyaways depending on the level of detail your looking for to make it more interesting

I also had an ask mention how i did pony tails and the only thing you really need to keep in mind for them is that all the hair needs to flow to and away from where the hair is tied
