A hostile outsider from a place beyond sight or imagination, he displays a cruel, predatory kind of playfulness. Known by multiple aliases: "The Beatnik," "The Drifter," "Aya Entrati," and, most frequently, "The Highwayman."
Possessed of terrible psychic powers, he appears and disappears without warning and influences the minds of the unwary. A deadly magician that commands the invisible agony of ionizing radiation.
Despite his capricious and randomly violent nature, he has demonstrated the capacity for unusual acts of care, service and loyalty. He is bound by a personal and inscrutable code of honor, and seems to be most concerned by what is "sporting," "fair," and "fun."
