La Vie en Rose

I hit a pretty big art block toward the end of 2024, one that lingered well into the following year and made it difficult to produce anything that felt genuinely meaningful to me. On top of that, I was so busy with work in real life that it started to affect how I perceived what I made, and that wasn't fun at all!!!!

I ended up stepping back from most social media; Twitter especially was starting to make me nervous LOL and I wanted to focus more on staying close to my friends. I was gone long enough that some of you got worried and even asked if something had happened to me, which I’m really sorry for (my mental health was a bit all over the place during that time 😭).

There IS a bit of a silver lining to all of it though, my art block finally started to lift. I even got the chance to do some freelance work for a cute little indie game called HorrorVale! And before I knew it, I’d been pulled into the dev team. Now I’m having a lot of fun working on its DLC/side game, Act M >:3

The reason I haven’t been posting much art this past year is that most of what I’ve worked on has been for the game, and I can’t share it publicly due to an NDA 😳 Hopefully, once the game is out, I’ll finally be able to show you all the cool stuff I’ve been working on, and everything else the game has to offer! >:3

I think it’s also a good time to say that I might be done with Twitter for now. I’m still not very comfortable with that platform, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon, but I’ll let you all know if that ever does.

The same goes for my Ko-fi... I’ll need to revisit and rework it a bit so I feel comfortable posting there again. I’ve definitely neglected my accounts, and it’s something I want to start getting back into.
