i try not to think about forsaken but whenever people get mad about lore changes (esp regarding n7 and ck) i have to check so: milestone c00lkidd's lore has been changed. and it's... fine i guess. it's very fanon 1x coded. like i do like making n7 not a perfect father bc realistically as a single father w/ 3 jobs he's gonna neglect c00lkidd but i dont know why they decided to make the milestones about c00lkidd coping with that instead of, you know, the fact that he's killing people??? like sure daddy issues whatever but how does that escalate to stabbing him for fun??? you can say spectre sure but the old lore literally was c00lkidd's self contained character development as he copes with the role he's been forced to play. no need for manipulation. that's 10x more compelling than what we have now and with less jumps in logic. idc being forced to grapple with the fact that you're killing people and your fucking DAD and forcing yourself to enjoy it and develop a god complex because there's literally no other way you can cope with what you have to do verses growing up and realizing your dad neglected you and you become bitter so you try and emulate his past self by killing him... like how is this better LOL. nevermind the gang shit like HE'S 10. where the hell do they live that a gang would willingly let c00lkidd join + realistically would an ex-hacker who is trying to change his ways give his son access to his coding shit. NO

i hate focusing on stats on ao3 but i cant stop ughhhhh like having a "big fic" (not really) sucks kind of. but esp since ao3 was down today and there's less engagement than last chapter. and this chapter was kinda decisive (not really. but i think ppl could get the wrong impression from some things) but also like every time i post ppl always unsubscribe and that shit makes me sad when it straight up shouldn't matter to me. like yeah of course people are gonna unsubscribe im still writing for the cursed game. i hate numbers
