I haven’t seen a lot of posts that shed some positivity for non-binary Muslims who wear the hijab – I personally sometimes feel it’s frustrating that people see hijabi non-binary people as “female” just because the hijab is an obligation for women. My hijab does not define my gender; only my obligation to my God and my religion!
Shoutout to all non-binary hijabi Muslims out there; you are valid and Allah loves you, insya-Allah!
this is the most blessed post I thinking ever seen thank you op

ive legit run out of money to eat and I’m really fucking hungry so please if you could help me by reblogging this………
The Orlando Pride players say they are ready to build a future together
Here’s a comic I made about identifying as asexual and aromantic! I made it for an anthology which ended up falling through, so I thought it would be a good idea to post it on Valentine’s Day.
Take care of yourselves out there! http://raizap.com/
“We had dorm rooms next to each other freshman year. We mainly just played a lot of board games: Risk, Scrabble, Scattergories, a Trivial Pursuit game from the 1980’s, which everyone sucked at. But we became best friends, and the next year decided to get a house together. That’s when things started to get tense. We began sitting closer together. We were touching more. We’d play with each other’s hands. Never holding hands, but playing with hands. And we’d even fall asleep in the same bed together. There was a time that she told me goodnight, and I swear I felt her brush my lips, but by the time I opened my eyes she was out of the room. Neither of us had ever dated a woman. And I was terrified to try anything. We were such good friends. There was always this fear that if I voiced the desire, it would ruin our friendship. But one night we were out for drinks at a hotel where Al Capone used to stay. I was feeling pretty drunk, so I leaned over and said: ‘Sometimes I feel like I want to kiss you.’ And she replied: ‘Sometimes I do too.’ I didn’t say a thing. I wasn’t even sure that I’d heard her correctly. I just kept thinking: ‘Oh my God, it’s happening. It’s happening.’ Then once we finished our drinks, and started walking home, I stopped her in front of a bridge. I said: ‘Shall we do it here?’ It was December 12th, 2002. And even though we got married five years ago, that’s the day we celebrate as our anniversary.”

Ari being at Manchester pride makes me seethe with rage. It was her fans who made that “Millie Bobby Brown runs Faggots Over” meme (‘when I see a fag I floor it’ etc).
Because she’s there, entry fee for pride is £75! For fucks sake! if pride really is “for everyone uwu” like y'all screech on about, what about people who can’t afford 75 quid to get in to their own parade?
Need I remind you all that london pride allowed violent transphobes to the front last year? we are STILL fighting for our fucking rights to live our lives and this cishet singer who made a biphobic song THIS YEAR is headlining, profiting, and forcing actual gays out of their own celebration. Fuck Ari.
GET CORPORATIONS OUT OF PRIDE!
for any Americans out there, £75 is $99. it’s one hundred bucks to get in to your own fucking pride parade. not to mention transport, food, drinks, and merch which will all be inflated on the day too.
Fuck Ariana Grande, and Fuck Manchester Pride.
Queer Muslim Masterpost
This post pretty much came about because I was asked if I had resources for Muslims who were discovering or newly coming to terms with their sexuality. I didn’t, and the poor advice I had to offer was … poor. So, I pulled up a few of the blogs I followed that are targeted towards queer Muslims, and put together this little post for you!

Why Safe Spaces are Important
“I’m confused about my sexuality.”
“I need proof from Qur'an and Sunnah that I’m not Haraam.”
“What about the Qur'an and Hadith that chastise LGBT*Q Muslims?”
“You cherry pick your hadith!/You cherry pick from your religion!”
Some hadiths can be read in different ways, so it’s best to look at the outcome.
“Islam and LGBT* are not mutually exclusive.”
“But I was taught Islam was the most heterosexist religion.“ [tw: continuously moving background at the link]
”But all Muslims are homophobic!“ (spoiler alert: you’re wrong.)
”But Muslims hate sex - it’s ~dirty~ to them!“ (I would recommend this class for basic 101 on marriage and love [sex] in Islam. Take it with Basyouni.) (See also: x and x)
”Love the sinner, hate the sin, and why that’s bullshit.“
”Should I come out?“ (spoiler alert: that’s up to you!)
”Is there a place for LGBT*Q Muslims?“ (Or ”There’s no place for LGBT*Q Muslims/no organisations/no hope.“)
”Will LGBT*Q Muslims go to hell?“ (spoiler alert: I’m not God, how would I know?)
”But it’s unnatural!“ (lolk)
”There aren’t any gay Imams or Sheikhs, so you’re just making things up!“ (Also here.)
”But no fatwa was made!“ (It’s Wahabi.)
A post about other Sheikhs’ opinions.
”But there are no inclusive mosques for LGBT* Muslims!“ (Just stop.)
There is no place for homophobia in Islam.
Let’s repeat that: There is no place for homophobia in Islam.

Oh my god.
You guys. This picture book that just came in.
It’s an adorable story about a little “narwhal,” living with a narwhal family under the sea, but take a closer look.
Over the following pages, Kelp struggles to fit in. Kelp is different in so many ways; nothing ever feels fully right. Eventually, by pure chance, Kelp happens to get blown off by a stray ocean current and winds up on the ocean surface, where a remarkable discovery is made.
Um. Wow.
And despite their nervousness…
Hurray! And then the question:
I’m dead. This book killed me. So much perfectness was never to be survived. Kelp, I love you.
(And you, too.)
And yes, I realize that it could just be a lovely story about a narwhal, not a metaphor for anything bigger, but isn’t that the beauty of all the best sorts of books?
Book made me cry before tea. <3

Tomorrow I have to call to cancel my top surgery.
So I was my surgery schedule for 3 weeks from now and my pre op next Wednesday. But I got a call telling me that my insurance refuses to pay for my nipple grafts. Aetna says nipples are just cosmetic so they don’t pay for that but they will pay for my mastectomy.
But I want nipples. And there is no way I can come up with 4K in 6 days. (I have to pay on the day of my pre op)
I’ve been cryin all night about this. I thought after 10+ years of biding and dying of all the pain I would finally be free.
I know there is no way for me to get 4000 in time. But if you guys could help..
https://www.paypal.me/jayjayjaay
And if you are looking for an insurance who covers top surgery. Stay away from Aetna (unless you don’t want nipples)
Im adding this here. So you guys know how you are all amazing! I woke up this morning and found out I have 131.57 on my paypal! And I want to thank everyone that is helping! It means she world to me.
The doctors office called me today. We talked. I cried. They told me I shouldn’t do it without my nipple graft and they felt so bad for me that they will take care of some of the bill so it become more affordable to me.
The total of the surgery is 5k now. I have some money and I will use my credit card to pay most of it. But i still need help with at least 1k. If you gurus can help me get there before Wednesday I will be able to go through with it.
