Umm I think the reason so many people are suffering from psychosis is because of this damn app. Like idk how to really explain it but it’s like it slowly tries to pivot you down pipe lines. Like mine continuously tries to put me down spiritual pipelines or bc I consume a lot of political content it will start with like updates on current events then go to history then goes to conspiracy that will get more and ridiculous until I close out of the app and restart my timeline. Another one is horror and I’m not into horror as much as I used to be but I’ve always been a fan of urban legends and short stories. Those start with eerie art back rooms theories and if I’m watching TikTok at night they get more and into the found footage and the videos where the purpose is to not be able to distinguish if the video is real or not. Like obviously it’s fake but they do a damn good job of making it believable.

I’ve started now just completely closing out of the app and opening it again and my fyp is normal again. I’ve just been treating it like a “oh I doom scrolled a bit too far down” situation. Like I can see how someone who may be predisposed to like certain personality disorders could possibly spiral bc of this. Like I remember one night I kept getting weird videos of people claiming to be followed by something unseen. And something/one listening to to them, another night I kept getting ed creators and Ariana grande tho I have her and her hashtag blocked even her main Stan accounts. Yall know I can’t stand her. I also started getting weird racial content that was just blatant white supremacy not even dog whistles just black face and confederate flags. Idk what that was even for it just one night was nothing but random racist live streams and creators. Oh and the ai black ppl that was terrifying
