I wanna talk about these characters now cause I’ll probably never share the actual story I have in mind for the world, so here we go!
So, the story starts off with the sun and moon thinking differently about the world, the moon thinks that the world is corrupt and should be destroyed, while the sun believes that the world is good and can change for the better.
They decided to make a pair of swords and choose who will wield them, and that whoever’s champion wins get to choose what to do with the world.
The moon decided to choose a boy who was killed for finding the sword of the moon, bringing him back to life, while the sun picks a child who sacrificed their life to protect another, bringing them back to life.
The boy who wields the power of the moon decides to free those who have been hurt by power and to kill those who abuse it, while the child who wields the power of the sun doesn’t decide to do anything, as the sun takes control of their body.
The next bit isn’t as fleshed out in my head, but that’s mostly because this is just backstory for the characters, not the actual story.
So, sun child meets a bunch of people on, 4 of which decides to travel with them. Lucas, Lucia, Diana, and Alex. Lucas has all the magic but light, life, dark, and death magic, and Lucia has all of the magic that her brother Lucas doesn’t, Diana is a strong warrior, and Alex is a thief who I’d imagine starts their relationship off by stealing shinies from the party.
Stuff happens, my brain’s imagining that there’s a scene where the group gets trapped in a cave and sun child is separated from them and meets moon boy, and they start off fighting, but then the sun sets and the child actually gets to control their body, so they stop and then try to find a way out.
ANYWAYS! There’s a big battle, and there was going to be an eclipse where sun child would loose all of their power, and right before the sun child would land the finishing blow, the moon blocks out the sun, and they fall to the ground, and moon boy finishes them off. Then Lucia picks up sun child’s sword and stabs moon boy.
Lucia was the only survivor of the battle that day, and she cries, upset that her one true beloved died in battle, but an idea pops into her head, what if she were to just… bring them back? And so, she does, many years later, and that’s what brings us to when the story would actually start.
Uhh… sorry if I poorly explained anything, it’s more of the stuff that happens after they all come back to life via reincarnation, but I don’t feel like typing all of that out, so, I won’t.
