I really like how the phantom troupe musical theme is like a orchestra choir. Gon canonically confused by sayings and people say he isn’t audhd. He takes things literal. Also Leorio is so big that he literally looks like a dad taking his kids out on the town.

Love how Leopika are heavily implied. Leorio was keeping a look out for Kurapika so he knows he was working as a bodyguard recently. Also Kurapika is so sassy and can kill with his words lol. Also it’s adorable for this Hunterpedia, we have kitty Killua and Doggy Gon.

Season 3 Episode 47: Condition x and x Condition

Really love how there’s a red moon behind Kurapika as he kicks the ass of Uvo. Also Emperor Time is one of my favorite Nen Abilities. Also generally love the concept of Nen Contracts and then eventually Post Mortem Nen. And then the expansion on the Nen power system in the Succession Contest Arc. Also it’s sorta metal that he purposely brought a shovel to bury Uvo because Kurapika was that confident he would be successful.

Season 3 Episode 48: Very x Sharp x Eye

TOGASHI ALEADY FORSHADOWING THE SUCCESSION CONTEST? I recognized that face on that pottery lol. Also I love canonically Killua would use his cute little kid face to sorta manipulate adults. I wonder if this is how he killed some of his previous targets by acting like a cutesy naive kid to let them put down their guard.

I love how Togashi makes sure every detail is important like his hyper fixation on appraisal and counterfeit seems like random nonsense at first glance but this is actually narratively important. “He’s not concerned about right or wrong….just pure curiosity”. This sums up Gon as a character perfectly. He doesn’t care about right or wrong he just does want he wants and cares for those he wants.

Season 3 Episode 49: Pursuit x and x Analysis

I like how the main four have sorta like gem like eyes. Gon has warm topaz, Killua with a cool sapphire, Kurapika a brilliant ruby, and Leorio has a smoky garnet. Love how Killua hit Gon because he was worried he trailed Hisoka and put himself in insane danger.

I also love how this whole secret mission of following Nobunaga and Machi is the fist major glimpse of Killua’s anxiety. He is an analytical fighter but his overthinking sometimes hold him back. And that’s when Killua and Gon realized: They Fucked Up.

Season 3 Episode 50: Ally x and x Sword

I just realized this whole scene was Nobunaga torturing Gon in front of Killua. It makes sense why Nobunaga is so affected especially we now know the main Phantoms Troupe members are a found family formed by the dirty world all the way back seeing their friend die like that in Meteor City. “He’s the absolute strongest when fighting for some one else” this was the phantom troupe saying Gon reminds them of Uvo and it’s the core of Gon characterization.

This is also why I think Gon would return eventually as a main character in the manga. He would not want Kurapika to face things alone. “Don’t talk about dying likes it’s nothing!” And that’s the core of what is so fantastic of their dynamic. Both in separate ways thinks they are less deserving than the other. Both equally hold the other life more important than their own life.

“You back to being like yourself again. It’s my job to be reckless. And it’s your job to stay cool and stop me.” People need to realize that Gon was probably more dependent on Killua than Killua was on him. Also people use this quote to say Gon was alway a shitty selfish monster while in context this was just him being like “I’m happy you are back to normal because I need you”

Season 3 Episode 43: A x Shocking x Tragedy

You know, it’s very likely to me that Feitan is some sort of Zoldyck family member whether a bastard or like from a side family. He even attacks similar to what assassin techniques we have seen. Plus Feitan is the other character that’s known for his dead black eyes and black hair. And we know the only Zoldycks that don’t have black hair are Silva Zeno and Killua. Probably a case of whatever is Kikyo family as we know Feitan and her both come from Meteor City.

People think he’s Kikyo first son that she abandoned when she married Silva. As Illumi is a couple years younger than Feitan I’m pretty sure? But yeah that’s just a theory! A hunter x hunter theory! It’s pretty interesting the mafia aspect got introduced so early in Hunter X Hunter especially knowing how important numerous mafia families are in the succession contest arc.

Generally whoever was in change of the animation arc needs an award. They fully used cinematic film hacks to make it fully look like a Film Noir. Also I love how every character looks completely different. THIS IS THE EPISODE WHERE HUNTERPEDIA HAS THEM KISS. You know the animators were having so much fun animating this anime.

It’s also generally crazy being reintroduced to the Phantomn Troupe knowing their canon backstory and why they became so twisted. They are horrible people but also sorta tragic. Also EW why is Hisoka putting a heart at the end of his messages like he flirting with Kurapika.

You know I think Melody is the closest person in canon to a therapist. Maybe Gon should talk to her post Chimera.

Kurapika is such a fantastic character. “What a fearsome heartbeat it plays a horrible melody of rage”. BEST GIRL IS HERE. Also just that quote is amazing. Togashi is a good storyteller. Togashi is also good at introducing so many people that we all know will meet bad ends soon. Like each character is charming in their own way. His character work is so amazing and that is what makes the succession war actually work.

He gets you to care about every character you meet practically. There’s reasons why actual horrible people are so loved in the fandom. Like Hisoka and the phantom troupe all have their fans.

It’s very funny for Kurapika being like should I be here seeing the Instant Lover Nen ability. I too would awkwardly stand there watching. I am also way too asexual for that energy lmfao. And we are back to the boys. They are sitting together on the mast!!!! Killua back to being a fashion king while Gon keeps wearing his basic outfit.

Season 4 Episode 41: Gathering x of x heroes

If there’s a canon Hunters website that people post information and intel on. It’s my personal headcanon there’s some secret social media you are added onto when you get your hunters license. I love how Gon and Killua are shown to not to be absolutely perfect. They almost got scammed all out of their money lmfao.

This is also the canon start of Killua gambling issues /affectionate. Neon is very cutesy for someone that is a flesh collector. Togashi really made the Phantom Troupe for the lesbians and gays huh. Most of them are super attractive.

I just noticed in this episode hunterpedia there’s a chibi Killua drawn on the white board. It’s therefore canon to me that Gon drew that. Canon is what you believe in your heart.

Season 4 Episode 42: Defend x and x Attack

Hunter x Hunter is funny to me. Best Characters, openly queer themes, power system other shounen envy. But at the same time, Togashi naming system is funny. Because what do you mean the big metropolis city is called Yorknew literally New York switched around. Or the fact all Zoldyck children have the llu in the middle of their names (Illumi Milluki Killua Alluka Kalluto) and the last two letters are the start of the next kid first name. (Not to mention the reason Killua is named Killua because it sounds like Kill you all)

Also I’m in love with the Beetle Phones. Togashi has such charming whimsy at times. That’s how he coaxes you before slapping your emotions and you having a mental breakdown because characters die. Also I love my canonically raised in poverty Leorio because he knows how to haggle.

Also love how Leorio whenever he’s on screen is generally such a dad. Also the way the Hunter x Hunter universe has fantasy Google. Omg Gon is so bad at acting how are people falling for this. Gon was even feeling bad for tricking everyone.

Season 2 Episode 34: Power x to x Avenge

It’s always so funny to see Killua solely using his assassin training upbringing to be a demon to people then with Gon he’s all teasing and smiles. And practically since they met he already the leader of “Gon Protecc” squad. Like he has his favorites and is completely bias. He so easily terrifies grown men.

Killua is so proud seeing Gon being a menace and giving Gido psychological damage. I always love how smart Togashi writes his fights. Like Gon is written to be more akin to a scrappy animal rather than being more of a strategist. But that doesn’t mean he’s dumb. He also strategies and plans on his feet. Way more likely to use the environment or anything around him for his advantage.

Killua cares so much for Gon. He even made a point to mention his strategy wouldn’t work for him. OKAY BUT ITS PRETTY MUCH CANON HE DECIDED TO TORTURE HIM WITH ELECTRICITY BECAUSE HE SAW KILLUA GET ATTACKED BY IT. He was pissed! Even if Killua acted like it was nothing. Gon made sure he made sure he felt it. Gon was just a troll about it and stopped when he fainted but honestly feel he was about to.

Season 2 Episode 35: The x True x Pass

ITS POSSIBLE FOR YOUR NEN TYPE TO CHANGE. I’m telling you now I think Gon in the manga might have a different nen type. Or atleast his nen will be somewhat different in use. Example he might enhance objects or finally complete his rock paper scissors ability. I do sorta want his nen type to stay the same for shipping purposes I won’t lie (Enchancers and Transmuters being compatible)

“Don’t push yourself too hard”. Another evidence that shows other adults are way more dad than Gon biological deadbeat. Sorry, rewatching this show as an adult just made me a bigger Ging Hater.

Season 2 Episode 36: A Big Debt x and x a Small Kick

“Enchancers are simple and determined”. The only good Hisoka did was create the aura type personality test. “Transmuter are fickle and dishonest”. I mean yeah, there’s a reason why Killua is a tsundere. Again, I really like how Togashi writes fights. It isn’t as simple as powerscaling. Those weaker can win if they use their brains.

People say Gon story is over with in the manga when we are still waiting for the final rematch between Gon and Hisoka. Not that Gon is being built up to be the guy to beat the main villain (that guy from the dark continent). The four main characters has always been Gon, Leorio, Killua, and Kurapika. Just because others are getting the focus doesn’t mean Togashi won’t bring the boys back like we have seen.

Ah yes the coming of age date at Whale Island is coming up. Togashi loves his shojo tropes. I literally think he purposely written Killua to be in love with Gon. Especially because he loves to play around with queer themes. Also it’s cute that Killua canonically likes how expressive Gon is!

Season 2 Episode 37: Ging x and x Gon

GOD THIS MINI ARC IS SO PRECIOUS TO ME. This is also the main proof I will always bring up when people say Gon is exactly like Ging. No, he returned home when his grudge was fulfilled. Also Killua is so shy and precious.

This whole arc shows how close they are. It’s adorable. Killua has such a soft expression seeing Gon so happy and in his element. This whole scene is pretty much a campfire confession. Again their recurring theme of looking at the stars together. It makes so much sense when you realize Killua birthday is Tanabata. Killua fully says he admires Gon.

“Let’s travel around the whole together”. This is why I’m almost 100% sure that’s gonna be them in the manga. Their goals changed and they had to spilt apart. But I honestly feel they would come back together so they can honor this promise. If for the majority of the story, Killua followed Gon then in the future either Gon follows Killua or they finally walk side to side with their own goals. Because as Togashi main theme with this series the journey is worth more than the destination.

GON IS SO DISTANT FROM HIS DAD HE DECIDED TO CANONICALLY CALL HIM BY HIS NAME. And people say to me he doesn’t have complicated feelings from being abandoned.

“Do you think Ging would try to hurt me?” God watching this as an adult just makes it way more apparent that Gon was hurting so much. What type of dad you have to be that your child could think it was a possibly you could hurt him.

Okay but I seriously think something is up with Gon body. Like Killua said he healed way too fast. I think he’s definitely gonna go and find the truth of his weirdness whenever he gets dragged to the Dark Continent. Because we all know the Dark Continent is planned to sorta be the climatic arc. Everything is leading up to the Dark Continent.

Though knowing Togashi, he would play with the special bloodline trope and probably make whatever is different with Gon probably something he have to struggle with. Whether it’s inherited animalistic rage or probably being being a forced science experiment.

Season 1 Episode 32: A x Surprising x Win

OKAY SHOUT FOR MY MAN WING. A actual adult that’s fucking worried about Gon and his reckless behavior. Also Killua lowkey always spoils Gon. He even plans to tell Gon his thoughts on the match after he goes and sees in person.

The Nen system is so unique because yeah. Special abilities is cool and all but it doesn’t matter if you don’t use the fundamentals.

Season 1 Episode 33: An x Empty x Threat

Again. I think there’s a chance that Gon nen changes because even Wing mentioned that they not fully grown their nen might be different later. Zushi again being shocked that Gon and Killua are so insanely talented. The way Killua is so protective of Gon. God I just love Togashi character writing. Though I have to wonder who is the favorite son of his? Gon or Killua.

“Not killing people is hard. Honest living is tough huh”. Killua my tsundere son. You are best character. And the dude immediately broke the promise. Killua is gonna snap. You do not hurt Gon on his watch. That’s his favorite person in the world. He would gladly have the world burn for him already. It gets even worse in later seasons.

Season 2 Episode 27: Arrival x at x the Arena

The offical start of season 2 and the Heavens Area arc. I really like Hunter X Hunter for being different and having the same opening but just changing it to fit the current arc. The way that Killua still gay yearns looks at Gon in the opening. Meanwhile it’s funny that Leorio only shows up to show he’s in college.

This is the also the start of fully attached to the hip arc that Killua and Gon has. Which is why Togashi definitely will have them reunite again. They are too close not too. It’s cute that Killua wants to go to the 50th floor instead of the 180th floor. He wants to get stronger with his best friend Gon. It’s so fucking funny how rude Killua is with anyone but Gon.

It took one second for him to become bit of an asshole to Zushi. It’s very interesting how it’s canon both Killua and Gon either accidentally used Nen or noticed Nen. Killua got a bit freaked out because he subconsciously knew Zushi aura was similar to his brothers. I really like how the the ending it shows their goals. Gon being Gin while Killua is Illumi as his overaching goal is to break free from his family. Kurapika is clearly the spiders symbolizing the Phantom Troupe. While Leorio shows him studying to become a doctor. Hunterpedia is the best part of this season I won’t lie. This one is about Zushi and not Killua being smug saying him and Gon are better.

Season 2 Episode 28: Nen x and x Nen

Killua is always so smart. He immediately realized Wing was lying. I really like how Hisoka is built up to be a threat in later arcs possibly but no he immediately returns in this arc. Hisoka is generally just scary he immediately like stalked Gon and Killua to learn when they would arrive.

Hisoka is so interesting his obsession with fighting Gon and Killua in the future at their most powerful literally had him save them from going into the 200s nenless. I just love Nen as a power system. The way there’s canon love umbrella for Gon and Killua. This is a thing kids do when they ship people together in like classrooms. Also it keeps making me crack up to see Killua full on just being rude about others appearance.

Season 2 Episode 29: Awakening x and x Potential

People say that Gon will never regain his Nen when Wing himself says they could have learned Nen the normal way under a week. If Gon really is determined to relearn Nen he will under a couple months easily.

Okay it’s very interesting that Killua sees it as a controlled water droplets while Gon is a rushing waterfall. Gon has canonical bigger source of Nen. It’s also related to their being an enhancer and transmuter I’m pretty sure. I really like how the villains this arc are all a variety of disabled because the injuries they got entering the 200s for the first time. Also yet another time where Killua and Gon looked at the view together. “A real friend would want me to be reckless” GON PLEASE KILLUA HAIR IS ALREADY WHITE

Season 2 Episode 30

The last episode for this short binge. SEE? When the narrator is mentioning Zetsu it showed Gon with his dead lifeless eyes. Another episode another day where Gon gets the snot beaten out of him. The way Gon was concerned about winning he wanted to prolong the match so he can use it as sorta training.

Wing is pretty shocked that Gon already knows Zetsu. Pointing out he probably learned it like beasts in nature. Togashi please do more with this fact you built in Gon. I want him to be more cutesy animalistic and generally feral. Praying the Freeccs bloodline is some sort of fuckery down the line. The way Killua is the first one to start nagging Gon after he broke so many bones.

I love how slowly Gon is growing a group of people that are worrying about his reckless behavior. Killua and now Wing. Gon even slightly annoyed Killua immediately ratted him out he needed two months to fully recover.

“Once he’s in the zone he loses sight of anything else” This is important for Killua and Gon characterization but this also gives vibes of you accidentally talking about your crush to a trusted adult. No wonder why Killua is flustered.

The way he smiles at Gon meditating. The closet is glass. There’s reasons why everyone agrees that Killua is just a baby gay. Even if some people think Killugon is one sided and unrequited. Also it’s cute that Killua immediately decided to meditate with Gon after seeing what he was doing. “Have I awoken a terrible monster?” This is just funny to me because we know Wing master is Bisky.

Season 1 Episode 19: Can’t Win x But x Can’t Lose

The way Killua was more bothered at the fact that he could be considered to have less potential than Gon. I wouldn’t say he’s envious but he always wanted to be side to side with Gon. It’s the first major appearance of Killua horrible self worth. I just think he’s reacting badly because of trauma.

Evidence 6: That Gon needs therapy. He fucking broke his arm because he was too stubborn to admit defeat. This is recurring for him. Gon unlike other shounen protagonists loses often and to his determent. But Gon always gets back up no matter what. If it’s smarter and safer to admit defeat. Like a grown man was ruthlessly beating up a child black and blue.

The way Kurapika and Leorio immediately got super pissed seeing the actual torture Gon was put under. Kurapika eyes even went red. Gon is such a Taurus. He’s so stubborn.

Season 1 Episode 20: Baffling Turn x of x Events

People say to me “Gon doesn’t have abandonment issues” when the literal first scene is him dreaming about his shitty old man. Literally has dream crumble the stairs he was on before he could meet his dad. Like open the schools learn what visual metaphors are. This is evidence 7 that Gon needs therapy.

I really like Togashi habit of twisting or putting his own spin on typical shounen tropes. For example the final exam is pretty much a tournament arc which is usually showed at length. In Hunter X Hunter Gon misses it because he was unconscious having us learn clips of what happened by it being told to him.

I really love the short monologue Hanzo gave to Killua. That Gon has no hate or malice in his eyes despite being tortured. This is one of the many “Oh Gon is Special” moments Killua has. Like sure, you can think their bond is just a very strong platonic one (even if most of us agree that Killua is just in love with Gon) but there’s reasons why Killua gets so attached. He’s always been light.

Ah yes let’s abuse our little brother Killua time huh. Illumi is such a fantastic character but Holly hell he’s one twisted bastard. There’s reasons why even before they canonically got engaged him and Hisoka was one of the big three Hunter x Hunter ships. No one else wants his fish eyed crazy ass.

“I want to be with friends with Gon” MY BABY BOY. He just wanted to have a best friend and not kill people. Fuck the Zoldycks. Everyone in the club hates them. The only valid Zoldycks are Killua, Alluka, and Kalluto.

“Gon is such a radiant personality you don’t know how to classify him”. I hate to agree with Illumi but is sorta true. It’s why I think Killua has such problems realizing his feelings. He is stuck in the vague line of childhood love where the kid doesn’t really know what’s platonic and what’s romantic.

Leorio is us yelling like “KILLUA YOU ALREADY FRIENDS WITH GON ARE YOU STUPID”. Why is Leorio so dad coded. He’s amazing. This is why I can’t take the opinion “Leorio is just comedic relief” seriously. Leorio is the heart of the main four. He is mainly characterized by his kindness.

Killua purposely failed because he didn’t want Illumi to kill Gon. Which Illumi was seriously gonna do so. For daring to be Killua friend. I have so many not so pretty words for the Zoldyck clan. Killua also did what he did so Leorio could pass. Literally the angriest Gon has been is because of Illumi being so awful to Killua. Like sunshine child is going feral whenever something happens to Killua starts now. It’s recurring for Gon to lose his shit when it comes to Killua. People are blind to think Gon doesn’t care for Killua and the devotion is one sided.

Season 1 Episode 21: Some x Brother x Trouble

Gon is just MILDLY feral when it comes to Killua. God Leorio pointed out the fact earlier. That Killua was helping him. Leorio is such a wonderful empathetic man. He understands more people than they give him credit for. “I’ll never let him see you again”. I forgot how this arc he’s literally on a rescue mission. He’s being Killua knight in ugly green shorts.

Gon just causally broke Illumi arm because he was that pissed. To understand at this point Gon still doesn’t understand Nen. He just was that feral and pissed. The only reason Illumi doesn’t kill Gon is because Hisoka chose him as his prey.

Ging haunts the story in the way your divorced husband does. It’s so funny the early seasons has Ging hyped up to be some amazing enigma only for later that illusion to be completely shattered. Gon is so cute. Leorio points out how far away the air port is and his response I understand but I want to rescue Killua as soon as possible!!!!

Season 1 Episode 22: A x Dangerous x Watchdog

Okay I just noticed this? But the first scene has Gon eyes have no light in them. KILLUA IS ALSO GONS LIGHT. And it immediately shows so early on. Also it’s kinda scary to see this because these are his eyes during Chimera Ants. Literally his eyes are so dark thinking about Killua. I just like Gon being so feral already about Killua.

Gon has an inner darkness. And that’s because he wants Killua back safe and happy. Also Married parents behavior! Giving their son fictional McDonald’s. That put the hop back into his skip. He definitely gonna bring Killua back. It’s so funny to me that like all of the locals are like “Yeah there’s a family of assassins that live on that mountain let’s capitalize on that for tourism”

Season 1 Episode 23: The x Guard’s x Duty

Killua is straight up getting tortured but at the news Gon is here he’s all smiles saying he definitely open the gate. Also not Kurapika and Leorio staring Gon down for attempting to train with a broken bone. Gon just sneaks out to train when the other two are sleeping. Truly a Taurus. Stubborn streak of all stubborn streaks.

Gon trains to open the testing gate and gets himself beat up by Canary all to rescue Killua. Like why do people say Gon isn’t as devoted to Killua as Killua is to him.

Season 1 Episode 24: The x Zoldyck x Family

Baby KILLUA. God he gives me such maternal feelings. I just want to tuck him in away from his shitty family. He’s so young and lonely. He just wanted a friend!!!!!! I love the imagery of when Killua is thinking of Gon in the torture basement he’s literally glowing like the sun. It’s an amazing contrast between the bluish darkness of Killua bloody and chained and how Gon is hope personified for him.

The way Killua could have broken the chains at any second but just let the torture take place as probably a form of self harm. To punish himself but the second Gon gets threatened. He frees himself and start threatening his big bro. Killua was so happy to babble about Gon to his dad. Silva is such a manipulative asshole though.

Season 1 Episode 25: Can’t see x if x You’re Blind

It’s comforting to know that Killua had some people that cared for him in that huge ass house. You can tell Gotoh is sincere in sorta seeing him as his son. Sure Canary and Gotoh are more loyal to the family than Killua as a person but they do hold care for Killua. Also yet another of Gon being absolutely batshit and feral.

What do you mean he cut his black eye to drain it so he could see. How is he so feral. And people say oh he doesn’t care for Killua. Do they have eyes?!?!? Also I’m cry laughing. Killua being like “GON YOU ARE HERE! And this guy” and Kurapika being like “Ah see I’m just an afterthought”.

The way Gon was worried he had to fight Killua. He doesn’t want to fight his new best friend. Most realistic Gon has been like so far is going Oh Fuck seeing that Hisoka is who he is supposed to be hunting. Killua and Gon immediately show each other their numbers they have to hunt and Killua is just holy hell you are unlucky.

God I love Togashi character writing. He has Gon look at nature for tactics this whole arc has him subconsciously use Zetsu in order to hunt Hisoka.If Killua is good at being analytical then Gon is good at thinking on his feet.

Season 1 Episode 15: Scramble x of x Deception

Literally Gon eyes going dark is a showing of him subconsciously using Zetsu. Gon and Killua are prodigies. They are sorta scary being so powerful and talented and being so young.

Like Gon is super adaptable and quick to learn on his feet. Sure he hasn’t have any strict training but he’s sorta of a sponge that grasps things quickly. Meanwhile Killua is back to be being an aura farming menace. “You been following me come out you being too obvious”. Killua my observing king. Look guys it’s so funny to see the Gon effect on Killua.

With Gon? Cute affectionate teasing cat boy energy. Other people? Stares into your soul with demon eyes planning your death. Like don’t let anyone convince you Killua isn’t bias.

Season 1 Episode 16: Defeat x and x Disgrace

People say Gon is evil when he is immediately panicking seeing Hisoka prey is Leorio and Kurapika. He’s a good person. Kurapika is so smart by offering that deal. Hisoka is one creepy motherfucker. I forgot how terrifying his expressions can be.

The way that Gon subconsciously noticed that Hisoka must be using Zetsu as he says he hidden his prescence. He’s such a nen genius. It’s scary. He immediately is like I need to conceal my presence too and uses Zetsu accidentally. Hisoka is clearly super impressed Gon managed to steal his number. (Also a detail I like to mention is Hisoka number is 44 which sounds like death in Japanese. It’s why the number 4 is considered unlucky in Asian cultures.)

Of course, Gon was being hunted and got attacked and his numbers taken. Hisoka of course killed the dude and openly said “Did you learn how to conceal yourself all by your own. Amazing you are like a wild animal”. Hisoka is impressed because he knows Nen and Gon taught himself one of the Pilars without a teacher.

Hisoka was so impressed he gave Gon the numbers he needed to pass. Of course Gonn didn’t want to pass like this so he’s very frustrated. He holds onto this grudge until the Heavens Arena arc.

Season 1 Episode 17: Trap x in x the Hole

It’s so funny seeing Killua just bored and unbothered him being attacked. Like Killua is so cocky but for good reason. He took the three brothers for fools. He even called them idiots to their face. After everything was done Killua literally complained it’s boring and wondered what Gon was doing.

Just married couple and our son who likes to roleplay as a bloodhound. I like to point out that Gon is such a good example of someone selfish yet in a kind way. Sure he probably would have helped either way but he is trying to make it good after in his opinion he failed.

Evidence 4: Gon needs therapy. His self esteem is way too attached to his abilities. If he failed it’s because he’s weak. This is more apparent in later arcs but it’s alway been there. Of course things go sideways and Kurapika and Gonn rush in to save Leorio. Gon fully starts to suck out the venom out of Leorio.

Season 1 Episode 18: Big x Time x Interview

Last episode for the moment. Love how Gon is immediately called Crazy first scene of this episode. Evidence 5: That Gon needs therapy. I love how Gon despite his honest nature can be a bit manipulative and a troll. Poor Ponzu.

She got conned by a 12 year old kid. She must have trust issues now. He was technically being honest. He is so disrespectful I’m crying. The way in Killua and Gon interviews they both mentioned the other. They are so adorable. We know what’s gonna happen but still LOL.

Season 1 Episode 9: Beware x of x Prisoners

OMG. I forgot how much a little shit Gon can be. Literally smiling all bright blowing out the candle and giving peace signs. He’s such a menace.

Also the way Killua not only immediately noticed that the dude fighting Kurapika is hella weak but smiled when Gon made a comment Kurapika should be fine he doesn’t feel any chills or anything. Literally nature child can sense killing intent and Killua is just so happy someone is on his level!

We also joke about Gons comment “We should keep Kurapika away from any spiders” but actually avoiding your major trigger is a major coping mechanism. Gon is emotionally intelligent.

Season 1 Episode 10: Trick x to x the Trick

Ah yes this episode. Or what I like to call it “Leorio stop being a diaster bisexual for one second”. I love Leorio but he is a stupid bisexual. Also not Killua being like “I can kill him for you if you want”. Killua this is why your first friend is Gon.

Also holy hell? Leopika are so gay what do you mean they pressed their foreheads together and it looked like they were about to kiss?

Season 1 Episode 11: Trouble x with x the Gamble

The way Killua called him a pervert and commented he could hear his heartbeat from so far away. And not Kurapika getting annoyed his man is being so down bad for some random woman.

Not Kurapika and Killua being done with him and immediately knowing he’s gonna pick she’s a man. While innocent sunshine Gon is confused why he would. God the second hand embarrassment is real.

Also it’s funny how important rock paper and scissors are already is. You can tell Togashi sometimes just uses Hunter x Hunter for his own hobbies and hyperfixations.

It’s so funny how Leorio was like oh fuck we screwed Killua is weak. If only he knew. Killua is so batshit early on. Casually rips out a dudes heart. It’s so funny that Leorio reacts like a normal person seeing a kid rip out an adults heart while Gon is just like holy shit that’s cool can you teach me how to do that?

Season 1 Episode 12: Last Test x of x Resolve

So they are stuck in a room as punishment and I’m taking this as the first time technically Gon and Killua shared a bed. They are using the same couch as pillows lol. Killua didn’t sleep but immediately woke up Gon with a pillow fight. They are so playful with each other. MY SONS.

Leorio keeps roleplaying as sleep deprived father. The skateboard and now the pillow fighting making him wake up. And then they start playing with the fishing pole and bullying “Dad” yet again. My sons! They are so adorably troublesome,

Again with Killua treating Gon differently from the others. When they had the choice to do the easy or hard path. Killua wanted two of three to be him and Gon. Like Killua was ready to kill two people immediately. Like he already has his priorities.

Killua is already such a yearner. He can’t stop gazing at Gon like he’s the sun. Killua is so impressed with Gon thinking out of the box
