So I don't like to engage in fandom discourse but I am so confused on how people keep denying the scene with Ribbit was not about Jax being transfem because I went to it with my parents and there were a lot of children in the cinema and it was completely clear for the aforementioned that it was a scene about her coming out to Ribbit. I didn't even engage myself in the theory much until the finale and—It's just impossible to deny. Is media literacy really /that/ dead? Does everything have to be spoonfed in a silver spoon to people now for them to believe it? You really need Jax to turn to the screen and yell "I'm a trans woman by the way"? Please connect the dots. Its easy.

I have so many thoughts about digital circus (and very very vague spoilers ahead), but the main one is that everyone else is wrong and it was actually very good when you think beyond the most basic surface level interpretation of "it focused on a character that's mean and I don't like, so it was bad."
