oh wow look i tried to make a speedpaint

lance and hunk 1000% planned to travel the world together after they graduated from the garrison

they wanted to go to different countries and try all these new foods and visit these amazing places together and just have fun around the world and maybe visit their families or something

they wanted to take pictures of them together everywhere they went so they would have a super lit scrap book afterwards as a reminder of their trip

after Hunk built a camera they took a picture on each planet they visited and started building their scrapbook!

This doesn’t solve anything but what ever really does?

Hunk peered at Kal as Lance talked. There was definitely a bit of an oddity to this whole thing. It just felt too convenient. It really did. Hunk would have rather figure out the air craft from the blue prints alone, but time was a problem. The idea of a resistance force fighting out there, much like the Blade of Mamora, it was a really nice and uplifting idea. Hunk squinted as Kal came up close… and startled Lance. 

Hunk pouted slightly and let his eyes shift between the alien and Lance. Even if the situation was stressful this guys wasn’t so bad. Yet. “Alright alright. So you got access to parts and we need parts. It is awesome and we really need all the extra hands we can get.” He might be talking a little sternly right now but this whole thing was really out of the ordinary and they were used to fighting fleets of fighter droids. “But you gotta understand that I’m gonna stick to your side like a tack because we are not leaving the lions in the hands of a stranger.” Not… that often at least.

Hunk reached out and grabbed on to Lance’s shoulders to push him along to the other end of the garage. All while he moved both of them across the floor he kept an eye on Kal. “Right…” He murmured quietly as he stopped. “This isn’t good… But… Yeah you need to get back out there.” He scrubbed a hand over his face. “More help. And the whole driving thing.”

“I understand,” Kal said, sparing Hunk an appraising glance. “Exercising caution is wise, a trait I would expect to see in paladins.”

Lance offered no resistance as Hunk pushed him along, but he did glance over his shoulder at Kal, who smiled at him when their eyes met. 

Focus, Lance. Focus.

“Well, at least now we have blueprints and parts,” Lance said. “So like, yeah, definitely still not good, but less not good than it was a few minutes ago, right? And hey, maybe Kal’ll be a great conversationalist, who knows. You guys can talk about gears or...something.” He took a deep breath. “We’ve got this, Hunk. Trust me."
