I know I literally just posted this but I’m gonna reblog it with my commentary so people can reblog the original *without* me blathering on about it.
I think Fei Yang made some really interesting, unexpected parallels and transplantations here that invite so many ideas, I just wanted to rant about them.

If we’re putting Sakura in the Hermione and Naruto in the Harry role, Fei Yang then takes the super brave move of putting Sasuke into the Ron position, a really gutsy move. In a universe where Itachi is alive and present and looming large as Head Boy (much like Ron’s elder brothers and their success), the possibility of Sasuke having a Ron-like chip on his shoulder (rather than his canon Naruto trauma of his clan massacre) would be really fascinating to watch.
Speaking of Itachi, I can’t resist:
Itachi: what are you kids doing here
Sakura: we fucking go to school here
