// hell yeah babe you can't keep me down for long
i've been rping in another fandom lately but my friend claims this place has gotten good so i've resurfaced to see if she's lying lmao idk how active i'll be but i've poked a couple old blogs and it looks like people actually remember me which is pretty sweet and it looks like i can just jump right back to it without any trouble haha
There's such a fuss over Arkham! I found it a pleasant escape, in honesty. No bats or robins or terrible, awful puddy tats neither. But I always have gotten on well in tight spaces.
Ah, such a sad moment, when the bricks of my cell wall woke me up by landing on me. Well, a prison riot's a prison riot, and who am I to disagree with the sweet smell of freedom? No more of those awful pills, either! You play the cards you're dealt! Did you darlings miss me? I can see it in your face! That sparkle in your eyes! A reflection of my own humanity and mortality! Aw, come give us a love, then!
ragdollface has come to play
"Really? What a shame! Iād hate for such a cryptic look to go misunderstood."
"Ragdoll, hm? Oh, what a precious name. I am Eris, Goddess of Discord. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.ā
"What a modest name it is."
"Pleasure's mine, doll! You've got some great special effects- how is it you do that smokey thing?"

holy missed notifications batman (part two)
My first impression on the Url or their character: I think my first impression was that her two characters were really polarized, like, too much so. But after a while I think I both misread and sheās improved.
Do I Rp with them?: Yup!
Do I want to Rp with them?: Always up for rping with her!
Do I ever have any gifwars or talk to them?: Yeah, we talk on Skype and askbox sometimes. c:
My opinion on their character: (s) Hmm! I think Iād like to see a proper āaboutā page before getting into detail. Iām not sure I really understand the characters, so itās tough to say an opinion on it. I think theyāre really trusting, and good-hearted. 8)
Overall statement: Sheās a very reliable partner, I donāt think sheās ever dropped a thread, and her replies are always in a reasonable time as well. Iām pretty sure sheās actually related to Ragdoll somehow.
Me! *shameless mobile-lurking*

My first impression on the Url or their character: At first I thought she was an Arkham doctor. 8I
Do I Rp with them?: Sure do!
Do I want to Rp with them?: Always up for rping with her!
Do I ever have any gifwars or talk to them?: Eyemuffs. Which is to say, yes. Ehehehehehehehe.
My opinion on their character: Ā I really donāt know much about the series, so I canāt really say what a reaper is āsupposedā to be like, but I get the impression that hers is really loyal to the series. I like that she talks in a way thatās kinda strange and overly wordy, I feel like sometimes Ragdoll ought to not understand her.
Overall statement: This one time, she drew this thing, and Ragdoll was on the thing, so now I love her forever. Thatās how it works. Sheās also a pretty choice gal, 10/10 would recommend.Ā (ā”āæā”āæ)
"Trick or treat, darling."

This Blog is Open to Trick-or-Treaters!
"An actual knotā¦" shuddered the blonde with a wince, imagining the pops of joints and the sick, wet tearing of sinews. "That must have been terribleā¦youāve recovered well, looks like."
Quite curious, she perked a bit at the discussion of gross anatomy and limitations. One thing, if any, that sheād well of in human bodies is their exact fragilities, and was thus duly impreased when such things were sidelined, sudbued or superceded by ability, learned or otherwise. āOne would suspect so, logically, but when you think of every single joint that there is, it boggles the mind to consider every one of them with a full range of motion, beyond that of even the ball-and-socket that most are graced with. āTriple jointedā is just such a fascinating notion to ponder; seeing it in action is truly amazing.ā
"Ah, yeah, I bounce back. Can't keep me down for long." Recovery had been it's own pain. Who had time to sit around in casts all day? There were people to meet, places to be, things to steal. What a relief when he could go loose again. All it took was a little acting and sleight of hand to get out of GCPD hands.
"Glad you think so," his grin widened and he hid it in his cup for a moment. Admittedly, he was a lot more familiar with looks of disgust and being told just how gross it was. "I'm the only one with it, far as I know."
"Well, they couldā¦" she pouted slightly into her teacup. "Seeing as thereās a propensity for collaboration among the lawless in this city, Itās conceivable, the more they stay within rank the better, from what Iāve seenā¦itās similar to the Victorian social class strata, at first blush."
Taking a sip of the cooling drink, she chuckled. āIf you did, while theyād be trying to beat you up, I bet you could take their lunch money, if you put your mind to itā¦just how nimble are you, anyhow? Whatās too much?ā
She didnāt care for the term āfreakshowā, though he seemed accustomed, but she wasnāt in any position to criticize.
"It's more a matter of pride, I think. Most would be glad to pool efforts, it's just a matter of who they'd be pooled with. Criminals don't often play well with others."
He'd grown up with the term 'freakshow'. Almost his entire childhood was spent in one. After a certain number of times the word had just lost meaning. "Too much? Well," he looked into his cup, "once, a while back, I was tied up into a literal knot. That was too much." He didn't feel it relevant to mention what it had meant to his body. 'Too much' covered it just fine. He cleared his throat and looked back up at her, smile back in place. "Joints aren't bones. I can't, say, bend the middle of my forearm. There's some wiggle room with the spine, but after a certain point the spinal cord would be at risk. Organs, blood vessels... That sort of thing. At the end of the day, I'm still a human."
"Contact lensesā¦" she winced, pouting slightly at the idea of poking herself in the eye daily. "Heh, goggles, thoughā¦if I took an old pair of lenses and stuck them in a mask, that might do, hm?"
She sipped her tea, listening as he explained the fixation of masks, delighted all the same by the notion. āPerhaps itās the separation of self from society? Masks have a long history of such an effect on the mindā¦it affects actions, perceptions, and neatly displaces blame. Don Diego de la Vega wasnāt the same man as Zorro, after allā¦either itās a donning of the persona that society denied them, a personal renewal, perhaps, or escapismā¦but then, thatās only the ones we can see, Iād think.ā
Cecelia took a bite of her tart, chuckling warmly. āI might be over-thinking it, howeverā¦now, these tiersā¦thereās a hierarchy among the underbelly? ā
"Of course! It's cliquier than high-school, dollface. Do you think the Riddler and Joker share a lunch table in Arkham? You have to admit there's an edge of glamour to some of those super-criminals. Some people would rather snap a photo and ask for an autograph than run for cover. If you believe the stories, that's how Harley Quinn got started. Then there's all sorts of petty copycat crimes. A freakshow like me doesn't even get maximum security when they're around." He gave a lopsided grin and matching shrug. "Even in normal prisons, pickpockets don't sit with murderers. Don't have the stomach for that stuff myself, it's all just stuffing and rags in there, really."

// Gee I wonder who sent this one
My first impression on the Url or their character: My first impression of Scarecrow? God, I dunno, I don't even remember the first time I heard about him. As a kiddo I liked his outfit, but I don't really remember much else... As for this particular Scarecrow, the first impression was that the icon made his mask look incredibly uncomfortable. You'd constantly be adjusting that thing, and getting burlap in your eye!
Do I Rp with them?: Very briefly, yeah. And I think we had a thing goin' on other characters, but I have a terrible memory for who-plays-what-character. :u
Do I want to Rp with them?: Of course! They're very good, and I'm always up for threads!
Do I ever have any gifwars or talk to them?: We talked ooc once or twice. No gifwars, though.
My opinion on their character: On Scarecrow in general? Uhmm... Unpopular opinion here, but I think he's kind of overexposed. Shrug. Don't get me wrong, I like him and all, I just think he's had his fifteen minutes and we should see some other bat-baddies. As for this particular Scarecrow, I definitely think he's one of the better ones. Which is saying a lot, considering how many are on tumblr. c:
Overall statement: Friendly mun, good writer, and totally worth a follow.

Send me a Url and I'll answer these questions
My first impression on the Url or their character:
Do I Rp with them?:
Do I want to Rp with them?:
Do I ever have any gifwars or talk to them?:
My opinion on their character:
Overall statement:
"A maskā¦well, see, thereās the problemā¦glasses and masks donāt mix." she said, tapping the hinge of her silvery frames. "These are part of my uniform, for starters, and Iām stone blind without themā¦granted, if it works for Superman, whoās to say I canāt do it too?
She took off her glasses a moment as a demonstration. āHow different does it look? I canāt tell at all, even in a mirror, but Iād bet itās a change and a half!ā
Donning her specs once more, she considered the man before her. āYou did seem to have a very practical design in mindā¦nothing to trap a limb or get snared too easilyā¦you planned it out very carefully, didnāt you? But why the persona at all, Mr. Merkel? Plenty go withoutā¦ā
"Nonsense, you could just use goggles. Or put in contacts." It was quite a change when she took off her glasses, and he laughed in agreement at it. That really could serve as a disguise. Who would've guessed that glasses made such a difference?
"Why the persona? Because it's a good deal of fun. And if you don't have one, the GCPD thinks they can handle you." He shrugged and paused for another drink. "All they can do is buy time for someone else. They tend to stay out of it when I look like I belong on a different tier. Which, to be fair, I do."
Naturally he was better than those nameless goons. Not quite the Riddler, granted, but still apart from the hoi polloi. "Besides, even common burglars throw on a ski mask. I never really thought about it that much, it's just what we do."
