the male shook his head as he looked at one of his best friends shaking his head, “you know, if it was anything else i would have put up a fight, but it’s avengers so you win this one.” he pointed over at the younger male, “and for the record i’m okay with buying snacks as long as youre going to share and i don’t have to buy two of almost everything.”

“of course i win,” rafael throw his hand up like he had heard the most ridiculous thing come out his best friend’s lips. which in a way it was. “but!” he started to protest, even pouting some sticking out his lower lip. “you know how hungry i get when superheros are saving the day...i can’t make any promises!”

Pausing slightly, Bo glanced over at Rafael, setting down the textbook he had been reading. “I mean. Yeah, sure. I uess I believe that. I dunno if I believe in, likem martians and shit like that. But as far as we know, the universe is infinte. There’s gotta be other stuff out there, right?” He reasoned. “I saw this movie once that was about humans being like animals to this alien race. It was called. Uhh… Fantastic Planet, I think.”

“Fantastic Planet?” Rafael grabbed the notebook on the top of his book tower and grabbed a pen to jot down that movie title. He didn’t know when he would have time to watch it but he knew that he needed to now. “I have to see this now. I have been rewatching the Alien movies and Independence Day and of course X Files..oh! Star Wars I watched those last night--” He rambled for a solid minute before he stopped himself. “I’m doing that thing again where I talk and forget to breath, aren’t I?”

“Are you eating that?” Rafael asked as he lent over to peer Yara’s plate. The always hungry man had already eaten most of his dinner and was now eyeing his friend’s. Something that happened a lot actually. “I’m not even sure what it is...is that peanut butter or mayo?”

“Do you think there is anything out there?” Rafael asked as he sat down next to his friend. With a thunk he sat down the books he had been carrying - which was a total of five - before turning to Bo continuing his train of thought. “I mean there is evidence out there that we aren’t alone but then again it’s almost to syfy to even think that it is possible that something out there could be smarter than us in every way possible. Just imagine it. We could one day bee enslaved to an alien race with purple glowing skin!”
