In 2017, Lydia Martin graduated from MIT with a degree in mathematics and physics, going on later to get her doctorate, with her focus being on the official scientific study of the supernatural. In 2030, at age of 35, she successfully figured out a safe method of time travel, using the power of the nemeton to fuel it. She won many awards for this, including the Nobel Prize, in 2035, and her coveted Fields medal in the same year.
The year is now 2043, and the children of the McCall Pack are all now teenagers and young adults, and bored one night, they decide to travel back to December 31, 2021 to meet the young versions of their parents.
But the young McCall Pack has no way to rectify this situation, as Lydia has not figured out the correct way to send them back yet in this time. Now the pack will be forced to live with their nearly adult children from the future, until they have the technology to send them back.
