I get it, the terms can be confusing!

Some do, yes! It's called being a bottom. 😂 Bottoming transcends gender and biological parts. Some of us just reallllly like penetration. I think more cis men would like bottoming if it weren't frowned on by our heteronormative society.

There are exceptions, though. Plenty of women, men, and nonbinary folks are tops and/or don't like penetration. I think it's less about gender and more about what role each person wants to play in the bedroom.

Bottoms aren't always submissive, either! Some bottoms want to be penetrated, but also run the show. Hence the term "power bottom".

This is just me, but I swear by an outline. Some people reflexively push back when they hear the word “outline”, but it doesn’t have to be a lot! It can be flexible! I recommend doing it like this.

Chapter One: Rowan, a vampire hunter, is awakened from a petrified state by the kiss of a young vampire at a masquerade ball. She realizes years have passed since she failed her mission to kill Countess Whatshername (I don’t have the name yet...:skull:). Reluctantly, she allows her unexpected savior to help her escape. They’re almost caught by the Countess that Rowan was sent to kill, but they manage to slip out.

Chapter Two: The hot vampire explains that she is one of the Countess’ spawn. She wants to see the Countess taken down and enlists Rowan’s help. Although her order has drilled into her that vampires are the enemy, Rowan agrees to the dangerous alliance because she doubts she can get close enough to make her shot without help.
