the packaging was nice, haneul could admit that. but her brows drew closer and closer together as she continued digging deeper and deeper into her goodie bag. ❝ lip balm ? ❞ the impression could veer between surprised or appalled, based on how charitable one wished to be toward haneul. charitable was certainly something she wouldn't fault sienna for not being toward her, all things considered. how many years has it been since they've spoken ? surely, if haneul had her way, it would've been much longer. but eye contact had been made, and it wasn't like she could just turn away and ignore sienna.

well, at least, she could try.

how he had ended up at the after-party is something that seems a bit beyond duri. he's not someone who parties, drinks (thanks to his alcohol allergy), or really even goes out at night - unless he's going out for a snack or something of that nature. nightlife is something that's completely beyond him, nor is it something that he really even has any idea about in the first place. but, he had managed to get convinced to come to the after party tonight, and he's easily convinced to do these things. even if he ends up on the walls, like a wallflower, rather than doing anything else. he was truly just very much an odd one out here. he wasn't entirely sure what to do.

what didn't seem to help was the fact that he had to keep turning down drinks, by people who kept seeming to show some kind of odd interest in him, in some sense. lots of flirting coming his way and him having to constantly explain that he couldn't drink what they were trying to hand him because they purchased him a drink. holding the coca-cola in his hands was something that didn't seem to be helping either, and he wasn't entirely sure how to get out of it in any sense of the way. plus, duri was always kind of bad at trying to leave something, anyways, because he didn't want to hurt any feelings.

buzzed. 

though, the shock of duri followed by his was words had almost been enough to sober her up. it took a second to process but when it did, her eyes narrowed a bit. “who was it?” buzzed enough to cause a fight? eh? maybe not. still, she made sure to link her arms with his. “maybe i don’t need to go hunting for a fight but stick close to me alright?” she’d do her best to make sure that duri was protected. 

hello everyone! i asked the main blog if we could have askbox games on dash and they said it’s okay for us to reblog games ourselves (but they won’t count for activity unless they’re starter prompts). i also saw there were a lot of posts of people offering starters for the event, and inspired by that i decided to create a list of possible interactions/prompts to help us all out! 

so i’d like to propose a game: please send me a number 1-50 via ask and i will write us a starter for the #thefoursfw event based on the prompts below! ♡

it was nice having a restaurant-cooked meal after a long day, right? at least, duri thought so. and no matter how hot or warm it happened to be outside, especially with how hot it has been recently; duri was definitely still going to go for a meal that was hot. no matter what, duri was going to opt for the meal that was nice and warm; sure, he enjoys cold noodles, things that are fallen into that realm. but, there was just something nice of having a warm meal at the end of the day and instead of just eating anything, because he didn’t feel like cooking; it was going to be better to eat at a restaurant, even if he was alone.

he chuckled happily when the other accepted the offer of sitting with him. duri was definitely glad that he wasn’t going to be eating alone, truth be told. nonetheless, he smile grows a bit more, “ah, good! i was hoping i wouldn’t have to eat alone,” he says, a small chuckle leaving his lips. “it’s always really nice getting to eat with a friend!” he says, a firm, excited nodding leaving his head afterward.

“i did! it’s been a long day today with a lot of work, so i was too tired to go home and cook like i usually would,” he said. “i thought it would be nice to have a meal here!” he added on. “i’m happy to see you too! it’s been a long while, right?”

“wouldn’t have it any other way.” as long as duri was the friend she was going to eat with. there were a few others but if duri had been someone who’s company she hadn’t enjoyed. Sienna could see her still ducking out and pretending not to see the wave. a little harsh? maybe but it was what it was. 

“we had the same idea. long day, i wouldn’t have cooked but i didn’t want to heat anything up either...so i had the grand idea of coming here and what an idea it was.” her eyes went to the menu as she scanned it over. it didn’t take long to find what she what she was going to order. not one to stray from what she already had in mind when she wanted a quick and easy meal. not much thinking involved. 

his smile grows a bit more, “me too!” he said, nodding in agreement. it really was just lovely doing something with a friend, he thinks. if anything, duri would much rather hang out with a friend than be alone. it helped combat any possibility of a feeling of loneliness - something that was always much better to do because then he simply wasn’t sitting alone. though, of course, there are times that duri likes being alone to recharge; but, right now, that was far from such a thing.

another nod comes from duri as he listens to sienna. he giggled happily, before speaking himself. “me too! i did so much work today, so it just seemed better for me to reward myself with a restaurant meal, instead of having to do any work of heating anything up or cooking,” he says, another small giggle leaving his lips. though, there was probably going to still involve the heating up of something later, like hot chocolate or tea, for when he’s winding down for the evening. something that was always rather nice.

nonetheless, he had finally picked out exactly what he was going to eat and he was ready to order, after taking some time actually picking out his order. “i’ve been good! i had things kind of slow down, but i’ve been busy this summer! i had the comeback in june, but then i’ve immediately started preparations for my next album. it was just the song i released in june wasn’t going to fit this upcoming album, so it got it’s separate release,” he said, a soft giggle leaving his lips once more. “what about you? do you have anything exciting coming up or are you just resting for now?”

“is the company working you hard? should i beat them up for you?” she joked, a large smile on her face. there weren’t many people she would go to war for but duri was very much apart of that group. “i think i’m ready too.” sienna replied, raising her arm to catch the attention of a server. “sounds good, winding down after a good day, i don’t doubt you’ve earned it.” 

angelic’s sienna has made her solo debut under culture creative. angelic has been on a semi-hiatus after the release of their single “we ride” in 2020. since then, the members have been focused on their own solo activates with promises that the group will come together to release music again. things had been quiet for angelic’s youngest member until the news of her signing with culture creative last month. when she signed, the company released a short statement saying that they’re looking forward to future activities with the idol. 

that came sooner than expected with news of her solo debut, and the single has just dropped. the music video for the single “touch” has just been released to a mixed response. while angelic has moved in a more mature direction, no oone expected sienna to debut with a concept that was widely different from what we’ve seen before. the soloist posted a video of her in the studio upon release, stating that she had been excited to show this side of herself to fans. sienna is credited as the writer and producer as well as making the choreography for “touch”.

“touch” will reportedly be promoted on music shows for three weeks.
