ooc: I don't think people realized that Angel's hypo arc was pretty well set up, if completely subtle, in season one. The Vees wanted someone on the inside of the hotel, but Sir Pentious failed very quickly and Alastor told Vox directly 'You'll have to do better than that'. Next episode? Poison drops and now we got the missing scene with Angel, Vox, and Val which also explains why Vox was there. I wasn't paying enough attention to Angel in the following scenes referenced to see if his eyes briefly flashed with the hypo effect, but if that was included then everything fits together perfectly.
Also the fandom demanding Angel to be left alone and not have anything bad happen to him kinda makes me laugh because like. Do you not have/have never had an oc you deliberately just make their whole life a torment nexus just to vent your own feelings/hardships through? Or a character you make go through angst just because even though they're your favorite? Angel's Viv's torment nexus oc.
