"I promise it's none of that." With the Goetia's eyes closed, Blitz turned the knob to his door, slowly guiding his heart through. There was a click that followed only a moment after that of the closing door. Even with sealed eyes, there would be a sudden shift in brightness behind those lids. "Okay. Open."
The room had undergone a most stellar transformation. Walls of black were sprinkled with glow-in-the-dark stars, flecks of white light moving slowly across the walls and ceiling, a purple lava lamp spouting red goo on the dresser, and replacing the overhead light fixture was a color-changing full moon. On each wall, a black light illuminated the paint job he and his crew had painstakingly worked to perfect. Shooting stars and planets (including one in the shape of a horse with Saturn-like rings) were brought to life under the magic of those lights.
"So....do you like it? Think you'd feel comfortable staying in here...with me?"
Stolas can only hope his skepticism and hesitance are not taken in offense. 'Tis not that he doesn't believe Blitz--- why, he can confidently claim that Blitz is the only one he has and TRUSTS, at this point, but the fear of the UNKNOWN, and the uncertainty that comes packaged with it, makes him pause before finally stepping through the doorway and opening his eyes.
" --- oh! O-Oh my! "
All the words in his extensive and impressive vocabulary cannot HOPE to capture how he feels seeing all of this. Stolas' eyes cannot bring themselves to settle on just ONE thing, for there is much and more to gaze upon and ADMIRE in the best way possible as he fully steps inside and ventures round the room. Blitz had... in a way, brought the galaxy to HIM. The stars, the moon, so many things that had brought him COMFORT in his old home that had been absent of it otherwise--- and, now, he had Blitz here to add to it.
Nay, he does not expect it to be of the finest, most distinguished quality, but slowly is he learning that money only buys the sort of happiness that TEMPORARILY heals wounds. It cannot hope to hold a candle to the happiness Blitzy continues to bring him.
" Blitzy, you... y-you did all this for me? But did this not cost a FORTUNE? A-A-And take so much of your time? I know you've very LITTLE of it nowadays--- " He speaks ignorantly, and catches himself before worsening it, shining his other half an apologetic look. No longer amongst the wealthy, he has no room to judge those AROUND him who have never tasted privilege, and he's thankful Blitzy is patient enough to support him as he learns how to act less like a pompous prince, and more like... a proper partner.
With a giggle, the lithe owl sweeps back across the room and scoops the imp into his arms, nuzzling him with grand, GENUINE affection. " Oh, Blitzy... it's beautiful, " he whispers, trying to mask a sniffle in the crook of Blitz' neck. All these weeks of crying and the well STILL hasn't been run dry, but at least these are HAPPY tears, this time. " There is no other place I would rather be, my darling. You even put touches of YOURSELF into it to really make it OUR room, didn't you... "
Feathers fluff appreciatively, a trill rumbling from Stolas' chest. It's the first time he's somewhat brightened up since the entire ordeal, a piece of his broken heart and hope sliding back into place.

"I know things are...Well, shitty. But im hoping this'll make them less shitty." Blitz is gentle with his touch as he takes Stolas's hands within his own, leading him to the imp's bedroom door. "Close your eyes for me, alright? All of them and no peeking." Blitz was positively vibrating with anticipation. He'd spent many weeks setting this up.
Oh, Blitzy... if only Stolas hadn't gotten it so WRONG for so long. The imp really was a sweetheart under all that metaphorical armor wasn't he? Caring, soft... willing to do ANYTHING if it meant ensuring the safety and well-being of his small, yet genuine circle of loved ones. By the day, by the MINUTE, Stolas realizes he's... falling more and more in love, dangerous as it is to acknowledge and ADMIT it.
" Alright, I'm... closing my eyes, but nothing violent, or... overwhelming, please! You must promise me whatever you are about to show me shan't involve a bunch of people, or, or, or, alcohol, or... " Anything that may send him into an overstimulated panic. He's... not quite ready for all of that yet, his comfort solely found in Blitz' company.

Oh, how he melts into the touch, desperate for ANY form of positive affirmation. 'Tis shameful, he knows, and genuinely does he WISH he wasn't like this. Pathetic, needy, a complete and utter MESS. Helluva Boss Spoilers ( UNDER A READ MORE, CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK ):
Holy shit, the Stolitz shippers are EATING. Besides that, though... I really feel for Octavia. I really, really do... and even though Stolas DID do what was right in saving BlitzĆø, Octavia is 100% correct in that he did, indeed, choose BlitzĆø over her. Maybe that's not how Stolas saw it in the heat of the moment, but it doesn't take away from the fact that she's RIGHT, and she deserves to feel betrayed. Stolas LOVES her, that much is undeniable, but he hasn't been close to a good father to her.
At the same time, though, it was a necessary choice with a bad ending no matter what Stolas did. BlitzĆø is his happiness even despite all the issues they have ( and can now address and heal from the CORRECT way ). Stella is a horrible person, a horrible WIFE, a horrible MOTHER. Sure, Stolas cheated on her and treated her unkindly throughout their ARRANGED marriage, but she's just as much of a monster as he is, if not worse. Nobody was happy in that household, and Stolas did what he needed to do to remove himself from that situation... at the cost of his relationship with his own daughter.
I just feel sorry for Octavia because she's stuck with that demonic woman and absolutely no support alongside.
I just hope they get closure in the next season. BlitzĆø is becoming the real MVP and I LOVE his character development. He deserves good things and happiness, too. They all do, and I hope they get it.
