I read this really fantastic Jazz & Prowl fic called Truth Be Told by KrazyCat6167. It is such a fun mystery with a satisfying payoff. Basically, early on in the war, junior tactician Prowl gets sent on a secret mission across enemy lines with Jazz to retrieve data from a Decepticon base β but somebody sent him on this mission to die. Lots of humorous moments but also really cool ones. I love the developing friendship between Jazz and Prowl as they get to know each other during the mission. Smokescreen and Bluestreak are excellent brothers who do a bit of investigating back home to find out why Prowl is βMIAββ¦ and Smokes starts a betting pool on whether Prowlβs gonna make it back at all π itβs SO good

i love it when characters are codependent. i love it when losing someone feels like losing a limb. i love it when two people "complete" each other so wholly and terribly that one can barely function without the other. i love it when the fear of losing the only person who understands them is so all-consuming they'll destroy anything to stay together, including themselves.
