I have been reminded by Corporate that the NGC account is not my personal Omninet account and is not the appropriate place to provide my personal opinions. So here is my actual personal account.
I'm the person who supervises the @northstar-galactic-command account, or rather supervises the glitchy marketing COMP/CON that makes most of the posts for that account. Which is a thing I'm now allowed to say, because this is a private individual's account. Ha ha.
My former teammates have been threatening to highjack my account in exchange for lending me some of their backdoor scripts, and while they weren't dumb enough to try it on my corporate account I doubt they'll be so polite with my personal one. So I suppose introductions are in order.
Quixote (they/them): yours truly. Former Nelson pilot for GALCOMM, currently on indefinite leave at Lighthouse Station in the Dawnline Shore.
Panza (they/them): my newborn child, actual name and gender redacted for privacy. The reason for my pseudo-retirement.
Princess (she/her): formerly of the KTB, she's some rogue noble I guess? Karrakin politics are complicated, and we only cared that it gave us an excuse to slap her with that stupid callsign. We are aware that "princess" is not a legitimate title in the Baronies, as she endlessly reminds us. Pilots a Viceroy with an NHP called [Chaac], who won't shut up.
Iktómi (they/them): they picked the callsign, it's a reference to something but they won't tell us what. Knowing them it could be anything from a myth to a meme to classified project they aren't supposed to know about. Closest thing we have to an E-war specialist, they're good with computers but even better with a shotgun. Knows more about Horus than a breach-and-clear specialist really should, and source of almost all my backdoor tricks.
Grenadier (he/him): did a tour for HA, realized being in an anthrochauvinist cult wasn't for him, and joined us instead. Brought his mech with him, but it's a Gilgamesh which is the least revolting of HA's mechs so I suppose it's fine. You would not believe the amount of explosives on thiat thing, hence the callsign. We're still trying to unlearn some of his military discipline bullshit, but even with the stick up his ass he's still one of the most stand-up guys I know.
Marathon (he/they): actually is the most stand-up guy I know. He's basically Santa, complete with beard, belly, and bag with literally everything you could need in it. As the team mom (which is ironic for several reasons) he naturally pilots a Lancaster that pulls double duty as an armored brick. Likes to get out in the middle of a fight to patch stuff (!!!!!) so has his NHP [Emzara] pilot while he works. They're essentially an old married couple at this point.
You'll note the use of callsigns and not names, for privacy reasons. Not that you couldn't look us up if you tried, but I want people to at least have to work for it a little.
We worked for years as a boarding team for NGC, which gave me some very interesting stories and even more interesting scars. Feel free to ask, I've got nothing better to do for the next while.
