“You’re unnatural,” Quinn shot back. “I just don’t understand how you don’t like it. What do you even get on your pizza then?”

Charlie was focused on his cocoa. Paisley convinced him to come out despite all of his protests. He looked up when the girl approached his table. “Oh, yeah. She’s my friend.” He shrugged one shoulder. “What was your name? I’m sorry, I’m blanking.”

“Oh, yeah, it’s Quinn, like the last name, like the guy’s name, or well my case girl’s name, any gender name really,” she replied, with a shrug. “I always forget that people don’t automatically know me. Wouldn’t it be cool if you automatically knew everyone’s name though? And wow I just kind a rambled a bit, didn’t I?”

“You look ridiculous.” Mike laughed. “It’s very Paisley. Not so much you.”

Quinn sighed. “Just trying something out. I mean, you have that whole drummer boy look about you, Paisley has this kind of girly girl look about her. I literally have no constant of fashion. I just throw on what I think is cute and call it a day. Maybe that’s my look.” She shrugged slightly.

“That was a lot of language Q!” Paisley said though she was giggling. “I didn’t mean to scare you I’m sorry. I just got so excited about this song idea!”

“Coming from the girl who literally never cusses,” Quinn replied, teasing smirk on her face. “There’s gotta be some non-saint in this band. Which idea?”

Quinn looked down at herself. “One of Paisley’s dresses,” she replied. “Totally not me, is it?”

“I would agree, except one of them hasn’t done anything.”

Quinn let out a breath through her nose. “Oh true, true,” Quinn replied. “I vote we still do it.”

“Yes, we’re seriously having this conversation again.” Ash rolled her eyes. “Pineapple does not go on pizza. It’s not natural.”

“Have you even tried it?” Quinn questioned. “It’s so delicious.”

Valerie huffed, but started over. “A woman came into the store all up in arms about how I sold her a bad bag of chips or something, and I maybe kind of forgot about good customer service for a minute and unleashed the sarcastic goblin that lives in me on her. And now I’m worried that she complained to Aoife and that I might get fired.”

Quinn sighed, pinching at the bridge of her nose. “Okay, okay, here’s what we do. If Aoife asks, just deny everything. Tell her that the lady overreacted and you were a bit blunt with her because she was being harsh with you. Besides Aoife is a cool boss, I’m sure it’ll be fine.”
