Internet was out at my house and I've barely started collecting Blurays. So I was really tired and wondered why Netflix wouldn't just mail me Blurays, as if that wasn't a thing that they'd ever done in the past.

I was really looking forward to playing Forbidden Solitaire because I am really into Grey Alien's other weird solitaire/RPG games and this one looked super weird. And it's great! I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about the creepypasta shit, but I will admit that it did provide the biggest scare in the game. See, the real terror was...

For some reason, there's a guy who's been selling weird lawn gnomes in front of a pawn shop that's within walking distance. I want a bootleg Sonic lawn guy so bad because I think it's really funny. I don't know what I'd do with it because I'm not really a Sonic person but it's just so silly looking.

I wouldn't wish applying for Medicaid in Texas on my worst enemies, even if they voted for it to fail. But it's not because I'm virtuous or anything. I wish all kinds of other terrible things to happen to them. Maybe they can accidentally shoot themselves with their own guns or have a bad reaction to raw milk.

Much to my annoyance, Alpha Commando was the only tie-in that was at all watchable. It's actually a fun show even though it's a fucking action figure commercial AU. I wouldn't rank it as one of my fave shows of all time, but it was alright. The theme song is just like some weird OCP propaganda. I've only watched it once because it's such an earworm.

#I already watched RoboCop 2 so that's not on the list #It was fine #I'm more intrigued by its weird production history than the movie #I should watch National Lampoon's RoboDoc even though it looks fucking awful #That shitty comedy came out BEFORE the RoboCop documentary which is also called RoboDoc #That's the one with the “Robo wants Oreo!” bit #I should watch that too #Youtube

I'm fortunate enough to live in an urban area with something of a safety net for uninsured people. It's not perfect because there are co-pays and it's only accepted by certain providers, but it's something. The fucking thing is that because my state insists on offloading Medicaid to private insurance companies, there are sometimes advantages to this. I don't think I would've been able to get to a psychiatrist as quickly as I did recently if I was still on Medicaid.

But it's limited to certain clinics and a hospital system, so I don't really know what options I've got for pain management.

I guess I'm applying for Medicaid for a third fucking time. My state makes it so fucking complicated that I've applied incorrectly twice, and I'm in a mandatory coverage group. They probably just do this shit to fuck with people because there's no way this is saving the state money.
