okay!!! wyatt gray is a saint, so jot that down

he was born and raised in whitby, so he knows it like the back of his hand 

he’s a cop!!! he’s still a rookie but he takes his job SO seriously and works all the damn time bc he doesn’t like being by himself in his flat... sad

to understand wyatt, we need to take a Look into his past

he never had a happy childhood? like his dad was a total douchebag, he was constantly beating his family down with mean words 

wyatt never really minded bc he had his mom, who was also a saint, and his twin brother ( maddox ) who he was v close to for obvious reasons!! 

when wyatt was 12, he heard his dad arguing with his mom sometime around midnight ???? and maddox was asleep so wyatt didn’t wake him

when he went to investigate, he watched his father kill his mother

his father didn’t notice that wyatt saw anything, bc he was so focused on what he’d done and what he had to do to cover his tracks 

so he made it look like it had been a suicide, that his wife had hanged herself, and wyatt saw all that too

but, knowing she was dead and knowing that his dad would kill him too if he made his presence known, wyatt simply crept back into his room and cried for the rest of the night about what he’d seen

his dad waited until the next morning to phone in the “suicide” of his wife, and it was a HUGE deal in whitby bc the gray family is??? well known???

the whole town attended her funeral, and wyatt was forced to watch his father cry and put on an act for everyone??? and that made him so fuckin mad 

he really hates his dad, which is understandable, and it’s even worse bc now his dad is the mayor of whitby... a local celebrity tbh???

wyatt doesn’t associate himself with his dad when he doesn’t have to for obvious reasons 

he’s depressed to the max, because he feels guilty for not helping his mom when he could have, and because he didn’t tell the police the truth 

so he tries to make up for that by being a cop himself??? and helping who he can whenever he can??? but it doesn’t really help bc he’s still... Really Guilty 

he’s also not as close to his brother as he used to be, because maddox doesn’t know/understand what he saw that night, and that breaks wyatt’s heart??? bc he loves his brother to death and wants nothing more than to  be close to him again

so yeah ! wyatt is a broken baby and he needs fixing but... good luck getting him to admit that

he’s just Sad and pathetic tbqh

johannah is a spitfire in every essence of the term tbqh

if you call her johannah, she’ll fight you or bitch you out, there’s no in between... so... call her jo !

her parents are pretty wealthy ( they always called her johannah... their first mistake ) but they’re hella stingy and just... really boring people in general

jo always dreamed of becoming a female boxer bc uhhh fighting is her favorite thing on the planet, physically and verbally

literally she’ll pick a fight with you just for the hell of it

but ofc her parents were like...... no, no boxing for u

so she would pick fights in the school yard bc she could ??? and she’s been suspended, and expelled from on occasion, all the schools she’s attended

about two years ago, some girl was talking to her man ( at the time ) and she was like ???? ok no absolutely not

so she... surprise.... fought her. and she won. 

but the girl ended up in the hospital ofc and it was Real Bad so ??? they wanted to press charges ??? and jo turned to her parents for help but they pretty much told her to f*ck off n that if she came back again they’d turn her in themselves

so!!! jo went on the run!!! and ended up in whitby

since being here, she’s done... a lot...

like uh... she had a kid with sebastian ( zayn fc ) and they hate each other now

BUT she loves her son, elias, so damn much... he’s about one year old now :~)

having him has calmed her down a little ? she’s not as impulsive as she once was ? 

but don’t get me, or her, wrong... she’ll still fight u and ur mom without batting an eyelash

but deep.... deep, deep down ! she just wants to be loved.... tragic
