gijinka (alterhuman)
in this context, a gijinka is an alterhuman or nonhuman term connected to being or feeling like a humanized, anthropomorphized, or otherwise personified version of an otherwise nonhuman thing. it is a noun. it can be spirital, psychological, voluntary, involuntary, whatever.
example: sylveon gijinka - someone who is or feels like a personified version of a sylveon from pokemon

TLDR: we changed the definition to be more broad because we felt the "humanized" definition was very limiting and inaccurate to our idea of gijinkas -
we've updated the definition because we felt the initial definition excluded a lot of terms we personally believe would fall under gijinka with its wording
for further information, your identity does not need to be "explicitly humanoid" to fall under this, as long as theyre given SOME human traits, such as standing upright, having a human personality, or the tendency to wear clothing or accessorize, it can fall under this.
main idea with this new definition is it'll include more monstrous humanoids, furrified non-animals, mecha, object heads, and, tentatively, animate inanimate (see: object shows)
(tangent: although we think what object shows have going on is very distinct from the general idea of gijinkas, we couldnt come up with a definition that would inherently exclude them but include everything we do feel falls under it, so our final thoughts are, "why not!")
with examples, the definition now openly includes (but isnt limited to) such ideas as: a valentines day gijinka that is a satyr a weirdcore gijinka that is an anthro opossum a dire wolf gijinka that is a stickfigure a saturn gijinka that is an animate inanimate
im tagging @radiomogai because i do believe this change is valuable enough to archive
