I didn’t want to get arrested so I just never asked my mom for spaghettis after that. Lesson, learned. Don’t ask mom for spaghettis or she’ll call the damn police on you. 

So I have this memory in my head, and it goes unquestioned until I say it outload for the first time a few months back and as soon as I say the words “When I was six, my mom called the cops on me for asking for spaghettis” My adult logic slams into place and is like “Hang on. Your mother definatly did not call the police on a 6 year old for asking for spaghetti.” 

So obviously that’s not what really went down. I call up my mom to tell her how I remember it and on top of her figuring out why her kid has always been really cagey around spaghettis for the last 3 decades she tells me what really happened. 

So on that night, a man tried to break into our house through the front window. It was just my mom, and her kids so she did what she felt she had too and shot him in the head. He’d been wearing a helmet, which landed on the floor under the window.

Now I just want ya’ll to put yourselves in my moms shoes for a minute here. This woman has just taken a human life. The trauma of that- the instant agony, the panic, the guilt, the fear- all of it hitting her at once, her only solace the knowledge that her children are safe. She protected her daughters. No matter the cost to her soul- her children are safe.

they all started out with brown eyes except jay and dusan.

ras has the most acidic viper green eyes. they gain even more color whenever things get out of control. not like he gets mad but more like he's annoyed why the situation is getting out of his control or when things don't go his way especially in a direction he hadn't thought of.

for talia they start glowing whenever she's worried. you look at this woman and you think that she does not give a single shit but then her eyes are all neon and glowy. this became more frequent after dami was born.

for jay it's whenever he's angry. since jay took a single dip in the pit, the effects of the pit are not that strong. after jason calmed down his eye color went from acidic green to a more subdued green. after years of healing his eyes are mostly blue with slight hints of green. but when he gets angry the pit engulfs him and his eyes start glowing.

I personally don't think dami was dunked in the pit during his time with the league. ignoring the ''dami's clone impaling him on a sword by talia's order'' damian probably wasn't killed in the league. rather he was healed using the pit water.

the same goes for mara. mara had the same treatment as dami. The league probably mixed the pit water with herbs and salve to heal injuries. due to this, they both have brown eyes with the slightest hint of green.

dusan eyes are a glowing yellow after freshly taking a swim in the pit. but after a few weeks, they start changing into orange to finally red. his eyes start to glow whenever someone belittles him. because of his appearance, he always felt self-conscious and he doesn't like being reminded how different he is from the rest of the family.

nyssa has the same eyes as talia. but her emotion doesn't show as often. I personally think that out of all the al ghuls she is the most similar to ras. though her eyes take color because of her anger.

The one who sent the assassins are the distant relatives of the Solon family. They are after Medea so that the successor title will belong to them. They also sent a spy to keep an eye on her. WHAT A TRASH.

To me, I feel that it wasn’t wrong for Medea to gouge his other eye out. It may be a bit brutal, but it sends a message, a message that the Solons needed to hear.

Also, Perion, YOU SHOULDN’T EXPECT MEDEA TO CHANGE OVERNIGHT. She is Medea. And a bunch of assassins was sent after her. Her situation does not allow her to change her ways.

I know Perion wants the best for Medea but not everything is black and white, good or evil. Reality can be far more CRUEL than the simple notion of “good and evil”. Welcome to reality, Pel.

Perion is too pure for Medea. That’s why he gets along with Psyche so easily. He’s too held up by morality. He’s too forgiving in wrong situations. Just sayin’.
