First being she doesn't know if that... birth method passes beyond the initial spawn bc there's not a lot of information easily found about "her kind". She doesn't think it would be a problem(Lann is a mongrel and she is a tiefling, theoretically neither of them is a qulippoth), but can't be sure. idk if she would talk to Lann about that one, bc she knows how much everything with his brothers--especially the one born in pieces :)) --messed him up. She wouldn't want him worrying extra about what might be a non-issue.

Second, she doesn't exacty have a lot of experience with positive mother figures to know what to do. She only had Tante Kalla until she was about ten, and she was the only warm and loving parental figure Malyse has known in her life. She's been through a lot of orphanages/shelters/street living that didn't exactly come with nurturing mentor figures for a tiefling street rat. (she's not nearly as bitter about the tiefling thing as Woljif, but this is a pattern that's impossible to deny) She'd want to find good women with solid child-rearing experience and gets loooottttssss of advice. (She would talk with Lann about that one)

Third, she knows even though she and Lann would love their kids regardless of literally anything, the rest of the world is not kind to tieflings or mongrels. She doesn't think the Crusade being led by a tiefling and served by the mongrels will wipe out decades of prejudice overnight. So not an easy life ahead for their kids, most likely, and while that's not going to stop her from having them, it would take some... mental preparation to be ready for her kids getting bullied. (Definitely talking with Lann about that one)

HOWEVER. Lyse is an optimist, through and through, and she chooses Hope and Love.
