Lacrima, “Tear of the Gods”, are sacred trees in Carciphona. They’re like strangler figs where they grow roots from their branches, and when they flourished, each tree would almost seem like a forest. They have been withering away for centuries since the Catharsis, but when they do find the strength to flower, the fullest blooms shed drops of tears that eventually accumulate into an ultra clear and luminescent pool around the base of the tree where nothing else can grow or survive.
