Mayblade 2026, day 30: evil
On the first day, I said that it is a diptych, soooo we're finally here
the full picture looks like this, and these themes with good/evil gave me an opportunity to develop the theme of Ginga's red light in s1ep13 and Ryuga's blue light in s3ep36. Because I will die for the idea that it is interconnected from a moral and emotional perspective.
Ginga's red light appeared exactly once: in a scene where he was reminded of his father, confronted with the ghosts of the past, and Beyblade turned into a negative, painful, and suffering experience for him, as well as a selfish means of revenge.
Ryuga's blue light appeared exactly once: in a scene where, instead of pursuing his selfish intentions to solve everything on his own, he accepted his limits and transferred his POWER (which is essentially the most important thing to him) to another person. This is not about altruism, but about connection and understanding of what Beyblade is and what the person associated with the blue light represents.
Both occurred at a time of moral decline and personal feelings directed outward, both are related to the Beyblade, and both provide a direct understanding of the motives, but they are diametrically opposed to each other.
both are about selfishness and emotions, but in the first case, selfishness and emotions were indulged in, while in the second case, selfishness and emotions were rejected.
