OG Elias Deserved Better

If your reason you feel nothing for Original Elias Bouchard is that he was a prick who came from money and felt entitled to things.

Okay. Then why isnr there more uproar over Hamid. He came from money, a prank he pulled got several people killed while in university, which is worse than anything OG elias has done.

Compare their backstories, without knowing what later happened in hamids life. Hamid is arguably worse than OG Elias. Like very arguably so. Elias could have been hamid. But he didn’t get that same chance.

Jonny is the web

After the events of today’s episode, it’s becoming more and more obvious the role the Web is playing in this show. The Web brought Jonah key components for his ultimate eye ritual, in that it brought him Jon, the catalyst of the Eyepocolypse and brought him Elias, the ultimate vessel he used to bring it about.

Now, we know the web has never attempted a ritual before. But what if that isn’t true? Not in the sense is that a ritual was interrupted by Gerry or Gertrude, but that the ritual of the Web was so ingrained in society already that it couldn’t have been stopped or couldn’t have been detected. What I’m saying is that everything that we hear in the podcast, everything that happened before the events of the podcast, is The Webs ritual. And the web wants the ceaseless watcher to be able to hear what it’s doing or figure out what it did to make the world it’s own.

We are the Ceaseless Watcher. We are the Eye. We consume the contents of the trauma of others through the podcast. We are always listening to the tapes. And the web wants us and in turn the eye to realize what it did to make the world it’s own, after it’s already too late.

Everything that has happened, has happened because of the web. It brought Jon to Jonah. It probably did more than we even realize. The Eyepocolypse is the doing of the web and merely another step in its ritual and its one of the final steps.

It’s so good and deserves so much more love than it gets because of the other, more popular podcasts such as the magnus archives (which I love by the way, not shading Jonny) overshadowing it. I’ve seen maybe 5 cosplayers for this show and it’s my current hyperfixation and I just- ahhhhhhhh
