Famous as one of the most haunted places in England, the Ancient Ram Inn is located in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire. According to some, there are no more than twenty spirits haunting the house, spirits such as a the ghost of a young murdered girl named Rosie or a witch who was burned at the stake in the 1500’s. Said to have been built over an ancient pagan burial ground, the Ancient Ram Inn doesn’t just hold ghosts between it’s walls, but also a male demon, more specifically an incubus. The place is believed to have been the scene of child sacrifices and devil worship, since small bones and a dagger buried under ground have been discovered by the father of the current owner.
