My inverted acrylic painting of Kanye. My painting is the one on the left and the right image shows you what it looks like when the colours are reversed. I've always admired the trick of inverting colours and the way it makes you think it's a different picture when actually you are choosing to focus on a specific pallet of colours. Painting skin tones with acrylic has always been a massive challenge for me, but I'm over the moon about this painting! Over the flipping moon.

Why I'm here

I’m here because I have only just begun a new phase in my life where I put what I want first. Do you know that feeling, putting every ounce of everything else in life first? People. Choices. Fear.

That’s why I want to relate. I want to qreate. And I want to prove that I can put my artistic juices first. I can’t neglect this passion, not now. Even if I am going into my last year at university. SO WHAT? Come at me!!!

Three years ago my art teacher told me to complete my exam as an oil painting. That was my first and last oil painting and it was amazing, I overcame that fear of not being perfect, of just being me.

Today I am painting. Out of the comfort of pencil and paper, and the future holds so much more. So, without being trapped in the university tunnel vision and running through the overthinking explosion of what is yet to come my focus is on my art.

20, in London. Expensive living, living a double life. My dream starts now.
