Books are so cool because there are no fucking ads in them
concept: instead of βtime traveller from the past is unimpressed by the presentβ itβs βtime traveller from the past loves things we donβt like about modern societyβ like they think pollution is badass or something
medieval peasant upon hearing the number of species that go extinct every day: fuck yeah, damn those beafts to hell
I don't get why people hate Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror so much. Like... is it a standout episode of this era? Not really.
But it's far and away one of the best portrayals of Tesla I've ever seen, and it continues this era's way of really digging into the historical characters.
Also it drags Edison, which I am always down for.
The aliens are stupid? Okay??? Have you never seen another episode of Doctor Who?????
I've also seen people say it lacks the energy of s11, which... Like... Did you stop for half a second to think about the fact that that's a deliberate choice?????? I can understand not loving the sort of weird unexpectedly dark vibes under the episode if it's the only one you've seen, but if you've seen any of the rest of the season, that's the character arc????
i do think itβs funny when youβve been into a thing long enough that youβve done all the serious analysis you can do so now youβre mostly just thinking up looney tunes scenarios to put the characters in
looney tunes scenarios which are most importantly still impeccably in-character because of all the aforementioned serious analysis

We really deserved a Stargate spinoff that was "Adventures of Aris Boch"
One of the extremely specific and absolutely pointless things in Stargate that bothers me every time: in Serpent's Song, Sam says they were pursued by "several" death gliders.
Aren't you supposed to be good at math?!?!!? That wasn't "several" that was approximately a metric fuckload of gliders smh what an understatement.
obsessed with the way martha wells refuses to write an overarching plot for murderbot. every new book you think okay this is the one where she introduces the grand corporate conspiracy and recurring cast of corporate villains that set the premise of her next few books and instead she's like no actually i think i'll just put secunit in a Situation again
Donald Trump gets attacked by an eagle.
This eagle truly represents America. What a majestic symbol.
Itβs only fitting that this gets reblogged today
This is the only eagle that deserves reblogging on the 4th
The Chinese shoe manufacturer decided to demonstrate the indestructibility of their shoes
And also the indestructibility of that woman's ankles

Christopher Eccleston as Ninth Doctor Doctor Who Season 1 | 26 March β 18 June 2005
I love the implication that, as Larry is an "unpaid trainee", the dog is paid.
At an old job I used to HATE that we always listened to the only local pop station and honestly I'm not sorry talk to me when American pop goes this hard
For this game of dodgeball, I will be specifically targeting the gayest and most autistic among you to eliminate.Β
Okay so normal rules then
Back on my bullshit absolutely screaming about the way Segun Akinola pulled the BAREST SHRED of one motif from the s3/4 Gallifrey theme to give the Master away in Spyfall like my GUY your MIND and then the way he builds the themes after that????? Thirteen's theme only in a minor key and never in a major key anymore???? The motif from the Gallifrey theme back FOR GALLIFREY??????????????????? Instead of bringing back the entire thing, it's just a liiiiiittle bit of it??? And not even remotely the most recognizable bit?!?!?!? I AM CHEWING THE FURNITURE. And then!!!! AND THEN. The Time Lords theme?!?!?! He connected all of them?????? Like he built them backwards????? I swear he built Thirteen's theme off the Gallifrey theme and then built the Time Lords theme off her theme but I need someone better at music theory than I am to confirm that first one because I'm shit at theory I'm foaming at the mouth I'm going to need to be resuscitated send help I could write an entire essay on how crazy this makes me

my erotic fanfiction is more historically accurate than yours. here it claims that shes moaning 'yes,' however classical latin didn't have a word that corresponds to Modern English 'yes,' i.e. an affirmative answer to an interrogative. You could have easily avoided this glaring implausibility by allowing her to moan plus, 'more'βas exemplified in my critically acclaimed fic with an unprecedented number of kudos (eleven). I recommend that you log out of AO3 and return only after acquiring satisfactory knowledge of the subject matter.
